HELLO THERE,
Here is maybe for some of you a strange topic, but i recently discovered a quite famous website who rank dj's and artists of all kind of electronic together...
If all the people who listen psytrance would vote for their favorite artists, it would make from our kind of music something more respected....
I know this is not a very "underground" idea, but this might be the best way to finally have some radio shows of psytrance music all over the world !!!
If you were once tired to ear that house or euro-trance was the biggest style of electronic music, this is your chance to revenge...
So every month, you can vote for your 10 favorite artists...only one vote per month is allowed (you have to register...)which is to be more "fair"...
Now, the 5 first psytrance artists in this list are :
INFECTED MUSHROOMS
SKAZI
ASTRIX
GMS
TALAMASCA

i was speaking about psytrance.......but anyway, the goal is to make psytrance bigger ! there is even not a psytrance "genre", they have only "goa".....it is shame for all of us !!! |

but yes, i know it is a bit "commercial" to think like this....but there are countries like israel or Japan, where you can listen psytrance on radio shows...it is a mainstream music...but in many other countries, psytrance is still "forbidden"...
I really know that in some countries this would help...also, i took the risk to post this topic under my real name, not under any "anonymous" nickname, which means that i believe in it...even if it is a bit "fadira" ...(translate "shame"... )
It is just that i am a bit pissed off that psytrance artists doens't have the respect they deserve, and as a psytrance label manager, my goal is to promote this music, and my artists!!!
If i have to use my name for it, i will do it, no problem.......... |

And you would not like to see some psytrance on TV ? even if it was on MTV ? i don 't care the channel, if one day there is a TV show about psytrance, i would be happy....i don't understand the people who want trance to stay "underground"...Why is there almost only on web-radio that we can listen trance ?
In france (so i guess in many other countries too...)many people have no ideas at all about this music ! they never eard any trance track ! If they put a radio on to listen electronic music, they will find only house music, or dance.....why ? because we want to stay underground !!! I believe this is bullshit and that it is time (now that there is juno reactor making the music of matrix, gms and dado in the last oliver stone movie, or infected mushrooms who are gold dics in Israel !) to start to promote our music as any other kind.......
