Dj That Know How To take the crowd to level's that not exist in the normal planet.
Dj that know how to select the right track's 1 by 1 (music selection)
Dj That know to mix as well not to much and not less just in the right time and place move from 1 story to the other 1.
And for sure morbid show move's and vibes that will make the crowd to come in his mind&trip as well.
God Is a Dj.

First , a good dj should have necessary lot of humility...
After , a good technic is very important to keep the crowd up , longer of mixing is not so important but 2 tracks together had to be one , without trouble...For that, sequences are very important , and this dj should know that he plays of course...The result must be that the crowd think there 's only one track during 2 hours...Like a perfect history...This history should be on evolution....Trying to take some risks with differents styles , but keepin' always good quality music...He should play a mix between released and unreleased stuffs...
Last more subjective , feelings with crowd...

for sure a good dj must be able to beat mix without loosing the beat during the mix, i agree totally with that
but in my opinion, certainly the music...the order of the tracks the dj chooses....the style and the wave he builts up is also a very important point. but unfortunately there are a lot of dj's that are only thinking about the beat mix and the quality of the numbers is not so important for them.
...and he has to connect with the people...in which way ever...but its no fun to see a dj with a bored or even angry face not moving at all...

hm - everybody is right from there point of view...
n i think^
1.dj 've 2 play in beat or varify his way of playin'
2.'ve 2 know all his material
3.must 've good quality material
4.'must feel the crowd.'cause if he play 4 himself - it's not a dj...
