Comparing melodic, 130-146 bpm trance with high speed "dark" (pure psychedelic) trance is like comparing Classical with Powernoise. Why even try to compare?
And, if its so bad you never want to hear it at a party, well, why don't you throw your own parties?
This scene is very heavy on people who 'know' what SHOULD be done, but very light on anyone actually DOING anything.
yes obviously there is a "psytrance commitee" and you have to fit the profile.... First you must only listen to music between 130-146bpm (how funny is that? ) second you must only promote what YOU consider to be "psychedelic" and lastly you must be a cynic, griper and complainer to be on this hallowed, divine psytrance commitee....
now that the guidelines and boundaries have been set, we can all move on now.

its like this death,blood,bones n guts thing that people are trying to glorify...!
IMO...all of these are parts of the body and there is nothin that makes me feel that these things are even worth glorifying...because DEATH IS AS OBVIOUS,CONSTANT,INEVITABLE AS LIFE IS....!
also,i have observed that ever since the psy scene has spread around,and more people gettin into the scene,some *cool* guys wanna try n stand out,and the only way they can stay different from the crowd(the peace love vibe) is by listening to *heavier* and *dark* and faster music...which is actuallly a completely different subgenre...
so let them be the cool guys... unity is better when seggregated...

f*ck get a life and realizie darkpsy does NOT mean horror , hell and all that fucking shit. darkpsy = nightpsy = music to be played during the dark i.e night.
i dont know what those horror guys are on about either and i dont care. let them do what they want, if people enjoy they will continue to make music in that style.

I feel the whole infiltration of Pop and mediocrity in Psytrance is much more 'dark and evil' , and a far bigger threat to the wellbeing and integrity of the scene than some extreme Punk-y underground subgenre.

And realised that no one is scared with all this evil in psytrance that some of you seems to be so afraid of !
OK now ! take a look around you, read around in this forum and see that evil himself is in almost every post, EVIL seems to be in everyone in here, all this hatred I read every time I come in this forum which I don’t do very often which seems to me that psytrance is digging it’s own grave … and some of you are worried about producers and labels using evil in their concepts, Take Mistress of evil records for instance I met the girls I saw no evil in them apart from love for the scene and music ! … So what now !
My album the dark journal is a concept album, it was one hell of a brain storming for me to make a lot of research on the story and to write the story in my own words and to dedicate the music and the art work which I worked for it also myself and to go along with the whole concept and I really enjoyed working on it thank you very much !!!
