5Meo-Geo, you are right in every word you say, although i know a lot of ppl that aren't use acid and shroom and has great taste in trance music.
And mike you have talked about all the genres of trance that repeating itself... but what about Suomi music? does it repeate itself too? what about atrists like Haltya, The Vicious Spiral, Neuron Compost, Patrask, does their music repeate itself too? there are only few artist left that their music is real psychedelic and really worth listening and buying, all the rest is shit, except the old goa style.

I have read what's been said here and it can all be boiled down to one thing. Taste or lack of it 
What I find a bit strange though is that some people seem to "blame" The Arsims for the current state in the Isralie scene. If you need to blame someone why not blame the real men behind the shift to Full On pop trance Mr. Eyal Barkan and his "good morning Israel compilation? And blame the Artists that followed him and yourselves for being so uncritical about the music. I was once booked by Mr. Eyal Barkan and all he talked about from Sunrise to Sunset was how much money he could make from his compilations. It have to be mentioned that he's the only one that's ever f***** me over in Israel running away with my fee from The Forum Club. That's how much "carma" this dude had. And he was your Trance "god" LMAO
The guy knew nothing about making music. He hired a professional studio (with help from his parents money) and let the sound guys do the music for him. I wont even start to spit out bad words about his music - it does not deserve any atention at all - BNE also deserve no respect for releasing his "Balagan"!
Israel had a powerful totally beautiful and damn psychedelic scene with openminded experimenting artists but overnight this "devil" changed it all and you Isralies licked his feet like small puppies and followed him to where you are today. Blame yourself - dont blame the people this kind of music attract! You did it to yourselves. It's just a shame that most of the world have been infected too. But it wont last forever so enjoy your spot in the middle as long as it last. New music will arrive and Full On and the majority of Full On artists will be forgotten. Only the few talented and visionary artists will survive
When that is said there's some damn fine artists in Israel in both ambient, progressive and a few full on / crossover acts. They just need to get the chance to shine  |

u r in this since 98'
think of it like that......
actualy uve enjoyed of only 2 years of original music
and already 5th year we r in same track,same loop
not abit of originality
not abit of creativity
parties became to be worse than ever
crowd changed from colorfull hippies to war-heads shimons
u recall '98 as same sceene as it today?
and how u feel about it????
u accept it to be ok????
who to blame of all this???????

I think we found the man to blame. HandA is 100%. Eyal Barkan is the man who brought those guys to the scene and bastardised it all.
But you know what is the best part of hitting the bottom? The only way is up.

well i dont think eyal barkan is to blame
bottom line he was more creative and made much more melodic music than any fullon artist
and more bottom line.....
noone make his kind of music anymore

shimons put their hands on pc's,learned to tweak few knobs
well the product is on surface
shimons make shimons music
shimons make parties with shimon music and shimon artists
well u cant blame labels.......
they just ride the trend and make money on whatever will sell
result is all other genres goes down......
more oldchool artists move to make fullon even if they dont like it
new 'artists' make more fullon again with trend (some for money,some for glory)
u cant blame the crowd
crowd take whatever there is out there
and what u (as crowd) can take when u dont have any other alternative than fullon?????
fullon is here and its too late to do something about it

well beacuse of eyal barkan i got into the trance but after a while his music got bored so i remmber i stop hearing trance for a while and than infected musroom came with the gathring and i met people who show me new music after about 2 yaers of listenig mainly to fullon it got me bored so i serched for new music and i wish all those fullon lovers will do it as well |

So where to begin?
ok - those artists which I mentioned in the first post are artists I personally like from the modern full on scene.
So woutski - All those tracks you mentioned are great. My preferred genre is goa and about 50% of the music I listen to is dated before 2000. Again, those were examples of modern music. I was not saying that they are any better than older music.
Please stop talking about my music - you all heard nothing. I only have one track released so far (which sucks totally) and some tracks going around the net which aren't that good as well. Besides, I'm quite tired of plain melodies and I'm making more goaish music now. So shut your holes about me making nitzhonot  Here are 2 pieces of unfinished tracks I got lying around here..

You call those 2 examples above shimon music? The you really need therapy.
About drugs - didn't use any (well weed once in a while, but that's it) and not planning to in the near future. If I need to eat some LSD to understand music, then I'll pass and I'm sticking to my mindless fullon. Sorry.
To all the suomi style lovers (5 meo, suomi guy, etc) - stop crying that fullon ruined your music. Your music is not astrix, it's Luomohappo. No one forces you to listen to it and go to parties that play this style. Besides, I listen to that music too. Yes - what a surprise! I listen to it too and yes I enjoy it. But I also listen to fullon, goa, prog (a bit) and I also need my yearly dose of Eyal Barkan, just for the laugh. Just because I listen to everything and not ONLY YOUR style of finnish music and IDM (wtf? intelligent? how elitistic is that?), it makes me a bad, E-eating, rude, ars, etc etc person? Gimme a break.
You think that everyone who likes fullon is a bad person with no taste in music? I'm sorry to tell you that almost all of my friends, including me, simply hate that mashara concerning skazi, infected, etc. Seeing 14 y/o kids think that they know about trance more than we do because they heard skazi with fishi, and infected. But instead of telling them that they suck and should die, we try to teach them about better (in our opinions) music. You should all learn from this. Really.
Even though there is crap fullon, it doesn't mean that all of it is like it. There is actually good fullon, that I think even you lsd-heads can actually enjoy.
One last thing I'd like to mention to all those people who say that goa is dead. Remember the psychedelic MFG from 1998?
Listen to Passenger - Morning Pray. Released lately on a compilation from MP Records. This is exactly MFG style, but with modern production.
Now you all probably say that it sucks because it got a fullon bassline that you've heard 500 times, but FUCKNIG IGNORE IT. Listen to the music, not the bassline. Goddamit.

never really understood...such complains has full on sucks..progressive..is too stopped.
i'm sorry guys..i like alot full on stuff...it makes me shake my body..yes it makes me smile with some tipical full on breaks/ melodies and stuff...
am i a bad person for enjoying so much full on, has i enjoy goa? or has you guys enjoy goa? i love it too.
i'm in this 'business' (lovving this music because of goatrance.. and yeah..to me i see some roots on the full on style of nowdays).
i like to dance..full on make me dance, make me smile, what the f*ck? can't i be happy my way?
men..enjoy your music..and have fun doing it!
PS - drugs influenced the style..but i've lots of LSD-head friends that just wanna have funn on the full on domains!!
