IDM (Intelegent Dance Music) is a genre of electronic music that basicly was founded by Aphex Twin
this genre is most freestyled genre there is (exept maybe Jazz)
IDM artist's brake all the "rules" of all common ways of creating music and just make what in their minds
not that it dont have any struscure formula but even each artist dont make 2 same sounded tracks
so i dont know how the hell mike_a found a structure in this genre
google Warp Records to get basic idea about this music

at least you could try to express your thoughts a bit more friendly 5 meo geo, because then some might even sympathise with you. i think that you're right and i share your musical taste, but in this way you're just leaving the same impact to me as one of these wanna be spiritual pill munching assholes out there with no respect towards other opinions.

Dear 5Meo-Geo i'm not sure who is the coke craving druggie here. I mean you are the one who's shouting and screaming your opinion like a druggie. I know Mike very well and i can assure you that he's the least possible victim of any of the chemical substances you mentioned.

I totally agree with you on several points, i am also totally tired from this never ending full-on bullshit. OK, it's my personal problem, I like Mike's music, the tracks I heard from him (both full on and freestyle/chill) are different and well built IMO.
I don't like the stuff you claim to be "the best in the universe", self-denominated IDM (only human arrogance would assume the music they like to be the only good and IDM in the universe).

A. Not touching Drugs and not apreciating the full spectrum of the music. As much as i am attracted to experiense those sensations, when i read your posts and all the rest psy purists (you know who you are) i tend to postpone them as much as possible. I don't want to get the feeling i know everything.
B. Sorry for not fitting your description of the psychedelic crowd. Did you ever consider that perhaps some people can not take psychedelic drugs due to some psychological or physiological problems? So, they are out of your club as well?
C. Sorry for discovering the music only in 98'. I didn't know that our scene is some sort of reflection of our Army. So you have bigger Pazam then mine.
Does it makes you smarter? You outrank me? What is that all about?
Don't get me wrong man, i totally understand your angre. Seeing those big Rave-O-lution/Heineken Sundance events with all the shimonim crowd makes me feel equally sick. But, what you are doing here is barking at the wrong trees.
There are very few shimons here and non of them will defend their music with the same heat as Mike A for instance.
True Shimons are in it for the X and for the Pose.
So, i suggest you to chill down. Give it some 2, 3 years and the Shimonim will find another hobby or go back their snooker clubs or whatever.
No need to release anger at the wrong ppl.
