We all have a right to not like someone's music/art, what i dont get is why should u care about anyone's superior attitude, make your music, make with love, lotsa people like u, discuss techniques, share knowledge, share feelings in music, make a side project to make money ghetta style whatever.
U are loosing valuable energie worrying about some futile discussion that only has to do with taste, i think some bassline is waiting for you right now
And the original question is still valid and i totally agree with JohnDoe, depth, not being an english native speaker i sometimes miss some words, Depth

sorry- mixing topic:
let's be clear:
topic of this thread 1) how fast do you really think this will continue to go?
topic 2) mixed in (should not be mixed) is my problem with this "grandmaster, god" etc... titles making someone un-criticizeable...these psykovsky people are nuts that way... it becomes religion and they try to kill infidels
topic 3) whether any particular music is good or not...
my personal taste is not in favor of fast trance, although in terms of fast hardcore scary stuff the Mexican guys (Kashykk, Xikri Newra etc...) seem to do it best... it bangs at least...
some of the more ummm ambient speedcore i heard on parties barely has any kick or bass murmur if you walk around the side of the speakers...

I think Ocelot needs to finally let his balls drop and heave like a man, not some pissant cunt of a girl always whinging.
The poor huge doesn't realize half the reason Psykovksky gets the paid gigs and he doesn't is that Psykovsky obviously has something better to do than fuck himself over on forums ha are dying.
Stop being such a little whiney prick and grow up mate, none of us really give a fuck about what you do or don't think.

Ocelot i can honestly say that i do not think the music will get any faster than it is today. I make, love and only hear psycore and have done so for many years. On psycrowdelica and noise poisen the general bpm i would guess is arround 170-180 bpm perhaps even slower. And yes sometime we get a 200 bpm track but its not very often - because everything over 200 sounds mushii. So NO i dont think atleast in darkpsy/psycore it will get any faster. |

funny how all particpated topics are going about the same mostly... is it too fast? is it goa? is it psychedelic?? and mostly all of it its just subjective... have been last week at a party in south of France... the party was 24 hours and there was played from minimal/tech/trance to Noise Poison stuff at 200bpm at some point passing through some Parvati/Bom Shanka etc sounds and man what a joy and smiles all over the place...just accept it guys its part of it and people are enjoying it regardless the age... if u don't maybe u are too old (i dont mean phisically) or why not just move on and choose the music you like and stop crying about how it supposed to be or how it was in the fcking 90's...

Its a shame, this could have been an interesting discussion, we all have our prefered styles more or less defined, but this is not a favourite football/soccer question, as a music production forum this is a valid question, personal issues asside.
Dont really get some words like "u on a high horse" or "cunt" in an educated forum, the fact is if we were talking face to face, it would be a polite assembly.
I miss melodies in those higher bpm tracks, sometimes when listening to some tracks, my mind just says," man, after this break a goa'ish melodie would just kill the floor"

There's quite a bit of melodic high bpm stuff out there these days, although not with the goa-style melody specifically. The most recent Kamino and Noise Poision releases all feature quite a bit of melodic work.
Also, I've refrained from ever posting my productions here (outside of the North American soundcloud thread) but since you asked, I can't help but self-promote my high bpm track with snippets of goa melody:
