That's not true at all. To make your statement true, it should read like this :

"excuse me! Ocelot doesn't have enough musicianship or craft to create a fuckin ubber fast track."

so... if the kiddies today like 180bpm plus (hardcore trance or whatever it's called)
do you think the next next generation will still be trying to compete at this pissing contest?
i'm pretty sure it just becomes a constant note above 350bpm or so... i couldn't get a distinct kick any faster than 300 something as it started to sound like a delay/mushy sound....

hmmmm! a progressive artist attempting to do 300-350bpm doesn't make sense, you lack the technology within the mental unit to do it correctly and why are you aiming for that range? Be more reasonable and try a 200bpm track and let us see if you have the artistic abilities.. 200bpm sounds like my pussycat when it purrs, love it so much and its great when its done correctly but ocelot its above your pay scale at the moment. keep working at it, with your musical skills you might learn something and actually produce a dance worthy track.

and someone said I was on a high horse?

hello arrogant little cunt: show me your "superior" artists that are making mere mortals obsolete...

Dude! you project just a little too much. if you can, try to redirect this issue you have back into your music then that way your music sounds better. while you at it, try writing a 200bpm of good quality. just project to yourself that you have musical talent and your psychedelic. looking forward to hearing it when you figure out how to do it.

excuse me i think there is no musicianship or craft in creating a fuckin ubber fast track. but you can feel special for making summ jumbled noize, just don't ask me to agree with your opinion.

We didn't ask anything of you at all. So feel free to keep your opinion where it belongs, up my ass.

all i read from you on this forum is that you insult people or say "grow up".

you rage against the psy scene, this forum, the hippies, basically anything most people that come here love or are attracted to..

it is you that behaves like a small boy that has not experienced much love here but knows everything best in order to compensate for his emotional disbalance, not the others.

now if you feel like insulting me, go ahead, it sadly seems to be your only way of commnunicating.

Mike Oz, I don't really like how you tell people to shut up and act like you speak for loads of other people. Just stop it, please.
If you wish to continue just basically slagging me (whom you've never met) & my music, have at it, but perhaps it's OFF TOPIC, my good friend.

Thinking Sound- aka Anton - well, you win... I'm feeling a bit insulted. be sure to introduce yourself if we ever happen upon the same event, please. It might never happen, however, given our divergent musical interests. might I ask you if you ever did a creative original thing in your own life or by what basis you pretend to be a critic of our fine art?
it will be good to know any of your affiliations or credentials as well, and with which crews you are helping organize events, or which agency you represent or? until now I only know you as the bored babykiller working at BAE systems https://www.facebook.com/bantoncho?fref=ts
who loves to try to make ocelot cry ... basically you come here with an axe to grind, so let's find out a little more about YOU, or perhaps we can RETURN TO OUR TOPIC...

and last but not least, Dr. Mr Satori Triplag,
I'm sorry that you find it arrogant to ask questions, poke at things, start discussions, etc. Feel free not to read these threads. Trying to shut me up, however, is not a viable option. I kindly suggest you act less fascist and go control something more controllable than my mouth, which seems to follow the whims of the clouds...           check new OCELOT, PROG-A-LOT and more on

anyway- WHY the hell was i just catering to these guys!???? ok, for me the question was answered already by user psymartin, when he stated what he observed on psycore festivals events etc... where they play usually around 170-180bpm... so it basically sits around there, and it doesn't seem to be increasing generally, except for the odd tracks or sets here or there...

and this makes sense to me vis-a-vis dnb, for example...
hardstyle, other hard dance styles... peaking around the same...anyway- thanks for the fun. sorry for the drama. next thread.

Right. This is the same thing as I said:

1) how fast do you really think this will continue to go?

As I see it, based on the history of other types of music, this high speed thing is either a trend that will go away (dissipate) or it will have the momentum to establish itself as an entirely new and separate genre either within psytrance or without. Kind of like how speed metal took off on its own, a product of metal gone extreme in speed and intensity. Or gangster rap, from hip hop. It took off on its own. A new genre of was created. So this high bpm stuff seems to be separating itself from psytrance as we know it and doing its own thing. At some point you have to accept that that's just how it's evolving and what its evolving to and forget about it or, if you're into it or as a producer, want to be there with it, then start making it. It's not a pissing contest, it's pushing its way into its own territory, regardless of the intent.
