Nooooo just one same Vibration... with different meanings of expression (lyrics, tempo, etc..)

Rastafaraaaï !

You r right but it seems that them rastafaris are more positive thinking and open minded than them dreadlock hippies

off topic: anyone been to a Jah Shaka Sound system party ? it is a real psychedelic experience, hypnotic percussion rythims taking you into trance and it has nothing to do with 145+bpm and virus synths

Why such generalisations ?? and why forgetting things like segregation in your answer ?

Some of them think so... like some white men think the same about the white skin..

Your answer is not a correct argument, sorry..           .

Well I had the chance to be able to read some pages of the Rastafaraï "bible" (but it was at school in the canteen, a few times ago -already-).. The guy accepted to let me throw an eye on it (they'll never "lend" it, he explained..), and along the school year we spoke a lot, he never mentionned me something like that (superiority of the black ppl). BTW he's a genius singer (truely) and used to sing in several bands (HipHop, Reggae and so on) with "white" guys and didn't have any problem with that..

ignorance is a bliss..
knowledge is power..

maybe it was during the time "it" first started.. whites having blacks as slaves.. maybe it's what "they" needed.. sort of ego boost.. you know..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Now we are far ...

But you're true, what "they" needed was brought to them by Marcus Garvey so i suggest U to read about him.. a GoOgle search should be ennuf..

During 70s and early 80s people were living a feeling of community, love and peace, they wanted to change something and they did. Music brought all those people together, but first there were ideas, then there was music. Music was an expression of real content.

Today people believe, that music can manage everything: missing content, missing ideas and missing true feelings. You complain, because there is no real community. You are right, but: no common aims, no community. People say: ouh, extasy makes me feel so intensively - I love me and everybody, but look what happens on parties. The most beautiful girls, everybody dances, smiles, flirts, but do not dare talking to anybody, ouh...
Oh I love progressive, goa and so called old-school-trance, but sometimes I hate that fucked up scene, that thinks: We are so cool: yours is mine and mine is non of your business.
I think it´s time for a wind of change, but of course nor me knows how to manage.

Why not have specialty nights then, to please the full on fans and the Elysium Projects of the world?

Saturday @ Club 99 - full on night

Tuesday @ Club 99 - progressive evenings

Or something like that...

Have eclectic nights too, for people like me. There's no need to split the scene if everyone gets enough of the music they want, right?           tiger got to hunt,
bird got to fly,
man got to sit and wonder why, why, why?
tiger got to sleep,
bird got to land,
man got to tell himself he understand.

Oh, for my part, I plan on playing some of the last Elysium album at my next event. Of course it'll be bumping shoulders with full on, Oriental melody, fractal spaceship goa.           tiger got to hunt,
bird got to fly,
man got to sit and wonder why, why, why?
tiger got to sleep,
bird got to land,
man got to tell himself he understand.

ufff... read ten pages... realy funny this thread...

First of all, NO, I don't see any need of a division on full on X prog matters...

Now coming to the provocation part... I was away about five days in a festival, and I really like to dance... I guess it's no secret I tend toward full on style, but I hate that name, I like high bpm music.

And yet, I fully dance to proggy stuff (not housy though), and as I noticed during this last fest, MORE THAN PROGSTERS!!!

This is wicked, maybe ( ) progster r just pp who do not like to dance ( ) cause u can not cross ur arm and bend ur knee to the kick in a 148 song as u can on a 130.

cmon pp... I'm waiting the tsunami...

Right Drope this must be the reason for all!!!

Progster are ppl who do not like to dance, hmmm...! Maybe they like to dance but maybe for them it`s more important to dance longer as you can do it if you dance like you wrote above.

It`same when compare a Sepultura concert with a U2 concert.

I prfer to dance to slower music. cause there is more time between the beats to creat your own reality. But I also like to go on headbanging if somebody plays full on. I just have fun.

peace
