Because I listen to 75 % of the albums that are edited, and of 10 albums to that I listen, really I like me (and I select) an alone track.
If i had to do this with originals cds ... i would spend thousands of dollars (that I do not have)
Simple
8 years ago i was buying originals cds because generally of 10 tracks that was listening, 9 liked me... |

I’m a vinyl man my self. MP3 is just the future, now. Nothing you can do can stop it. I personally love having records and a collection. I remember when I had to worry about the hissing on my audio tape, as far as the quality. I’m going to be upset the day the promoter only brings CDJ’s. Technic’s for life, indeed.
I do however record and convert my records to MP3's so I can play them in my car / I’pod. |

The reasons I use MP3s at 320kbps:
-They sound fine if you rip them at the highest quality and use lame
-the music isn't being made on vinyl, so my only other choice was CD. I would much rather use Traktor DJ than CD.
-I can carry a huge selection of tunes with me, and only need a small backpack with my laptop rig.
Ideally, I could use WAVs, but they take way too much space. I still keep some files in WAV, but only the most dynamic, well-produced tracks.
I used vinyl for 7 years, and I will never go back. It sounds nice, but is just too expensive and heavy for my tastes. I will not suffer for my music these days. |

I dont know really ppl, for me a wave, an aiff and a 320 mp3 sounds the same. Im not a sound eng but i produce for over 5 years and still i cant tell the difference atleast for my tracks.
For some ppl that said before it is lame for a dj to play mp3 in a party:
1) The ppl that dance dont care
2) The amateur dj wants always new stuff to play the best tunes and so on. Im getting around 100 comp's a month. Do the maths im not crazy yet to pay 2000euro for music each month (adding to that, most comps are full of crap and i burn only 1 or 2 tracks from each)
3) Behind most dj's there is no record label for support, for unr wavs. The mp3 is the key for them and me that is.

beacuse its nice and saving place ,
not a big or high quality but its can be fun somtimes on the dayly sport and run in the aipod ..........  |
