They changed the engine in 7, not 8. and it's absolutely fine. Want me to post samples from cubase and ableton and you tell me which one sounds better?

Hey man, Ableton 8 is released about 2 months..
IMO The software don´t are important...
All DAWs are very similar...
the tool is not important, but what you do with that tool...

Cubase 5 & Ableton 7
I've tried just about everything and Cubase is the best for me. It's the only one I don't feel limited in.

Cubase Sx3 and Ableton 7.... Eventually I'll upgrade to 4 or 5, but 3 works really well for me and my workflow is really easy in Cubase...

Recent polls show:
1- Fl studio
2- Cubase
3- Nuendo
4- Abelton
5- Logic
(im not saying from BEST TO WORST, its from most used)
the reason being fl being so high is becasue its mostly for begginers - pros use more cubase for quality and more variety (: |
