yeah... techno, d n b, hip hop etc. on 4+ decks is possible but for psy? maybe if you areplaying minimal and proggi style but nothing else, it would just end up messy!

This is the funniest thing I've read in a very long time. Think psychedelic and omit standard DJ thinking first off. Why don't you tell me how you would approach 4-6 decks. Laughing is good for the soul, thanks.

My friend I really don;t care how many decks you use. I understand it is a talent and congrats!

I choose to just have my 2 decks, and play with my Nord Lead 2 over the top. Some extra new sounds made live I personally find more fun than hearing 4+ tracks mashed up.

It is a personal choice. I have heard psy mashed up over 8 decks by a dj and to me, it just killed the trip because it made no sense!
I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

My point wasn't to focus on your lack of talent and how many decks I used. Just wanted to see if you think you need to beat match every deck with kicks and basslines and to see if you use loop control, 100%pitch and all that jazz to make sick basslines that you can't purchase. Even synth lines. Its comparable to playing live in Ableton without the laptop. Actually easier than playing on two decks with more control of the frequency.

I also was seeking to know how like minded lots of artist aren't when it comes to what a Dj is.

Isn't this thread asking what the Dj is doing? Your perception is off from what I was saying. It's OK, I don't feel like you were attacking me.

4 decks of psytrance
i guess the importance of picking parts and track here is of the essence...

anyway like Dennis the menace says it would be interesting to hear 4 decks of psytrance..

feels like you really have to plan your sets and know the tracks... but for sure workable and probably cool if its done smooth...

Djs that work and have feeling is real nice to listen to

Sorry Chief, I have nothing to prove... Actually, I try not to do mixes, They take my Soul.....

Why is it so hard for you to believe that someone and many others can't break the mold without having a wall of sound coming at you?

ok, sorry for asking, thought it could be interesting to hear a psytrance set with 4 decks since it would be quite unique on this forum. but if you dont want to give us a taste of your soul then its up to you.

A mix online here would only do you good if you can handle it well.

I've never approached this type of view before, great delivery. I did contact your label years ago and they weren't interested in talking to me and no, i didn't send a mix nor did they request one.

May I soak on it a bit?
