What happened this past weekend at 3rd ward was not a move on 1 person it was a move on the NY psy-trance family we have all been in NY for years now and we have been striving to build a family of one based on love, respect, reliance, and gratitude. Every family goes through hard times and this is ours.
@Metaforce Crew(Vish&Rachel) since your first party here, you have been missleading people,talking about uniting the tribe and such,well thats all bullshit cause you do not unite a tribe by DIVIDING it into 2 seperate rooms,you let them dance together on ONE dancefloor,such is the case at any real psychedelic trance event,the dancers are not devided and the music ranges from minimal to progressive to darker night time stuff to twilight full on and then banging morning melodic full on and chill out in the afternoon hours and all is played on one dancefloor therefore enabeling the tribe to actually be united and dance together all night and morning!!!!
Some of you may not know me personaly,my name is Noam my brother is max(EarWorm) and i have been involved in the new york psy trance scene for the past 8 years that i have been living here and i have never witnessed such dissrespectfull ungratefull behaviour from any promoters or organizers or anyone else in the psy trance family here for that matter.
Most of you here know Uriel(ELEKTROFUNK),this guy is a psy trance veteran here in new york since 98 (same goes for Lior/dj Illusion 98 till 2001 who was playing for Paradox productions/Dalit, and also at big open air festivals in canada& the u.s).
Uriel was part of the Ecliptic Trance Crew(btw when Ecliptic Trance threw parties and they had first time dj`s playing there they paid them 200-250$ regardless their party`s financial situation even if they lost money because the dj`s come to your event and put in all their energy and sweat for you and its common decency to show your gratitude and acknowledge ones talent and show your appreciation to his/her energy that he/she is putting into your event!)
Uriel is always there to help any promoter or organizer who tries to throw psy trance parties,be it with cdj`s or sound or organizing skills/tips and such.@ the first metaforce party(@ the galapagos bar/lounge) he gave them the cdj`s to use for free,they paid Uriel for his set 50$(2 hour set btw),he understood they probably didnt brake even so Uri didnt say a word.
For this party the agreement was that Uri will rent them the cdj`s for 150$,the day befor the event vish calls Earworm(my brother) and asks him to bring the cdj`s on the (r u ready for this?) TRAIN!!!!
Vish actually had the nerve to ask my brother that skinny kid to carry those big ass heavy cases (3 of them 2 cdj`s and a mixer) on the fucking train,r u kidding me?EarWorm instantly told him that theres no way he can do that and besides he said that Uri will never let him take his cdj`s on the TRAIN,then he said that we will deliver them if vish pays for the car fare to 3rd ward,vish said ok.
When me and Uri dropped the cdj`s and mixer off @ 3rd ward vish came up to Uri gave him 60$ and said he will pay him the rest after the party(he was suposed to pay 150+30 for the car fare).
At the end of the party after Greg ( dj Horizon) had informed me that vish was giving shit to my brother(EarWorm) i went to check out whats going on at the main room where all the dj`s were talking to vish and geting paid and such,vish was talking all kinds of shit about ME to my brother and then hands him over 100$ dollars and tells him this is for u and for Uriel`s cdj`s.
Why did vish give the cdj money to Max and not to Uriel whom he had the agreement with?Max took 40$ and gave the rest to Uri.
Uri confused like i dont know what comes up on the stage to ask vish whats going on,vish then starts saying:"you dont tell max that u want to use car service u tell me,this is my party"(something that vish couldhave well said that same afternoon when we dropped the cdj`s off befor the party),vish then starts cursing and yelling in hindu and pushes Uri off the stage,when i saw that i came up and started yelling:"what is this bullshit?is anyone seing this?what the fuck are you people doing here?you call yourselves party organizers?who the fuck do u think you are?YOU ARE NOT PSY TRANCE PEOPLE YOU ARE FAKES!!!!",right after that vish started pushing me around,making me yell even louder,and people started braking it up i turned away for a sec and out of nowhere vish runs up to me sucker punches me and starts running towards the exit while grabbing his bag.Usually when someone punches someone else the one that punches gets people grabbing him and braking it off,but not in this case,here everyone jumped on me and grabbed me (including their bouncers) while the little pussy vish runs to the exit!!!!(WTF????).
When Lior asked if hes getting paid vish said :"you said it was a pleasure to play for me" (which implied that he`s not getting paid and btw this awesome dj played for them for 3 and a half hours),and then when Lior said that he played for 3 and a half hours and hes in a real shit situation and he needs atleast some kinda money vish replied:"you are a nobody dj and im not paying someone whos not known,and you should be thankfull for me giving you a chance to get your name out".
While Lior was explaining to vish that what he was doing is wrong,vish started using his anger to supress Lior.When Lior aproached vish to inquire about the sucker punch and told vish :"what you did to Noam was inappropriate,we dont use our hands" vish replied :"Theres was this big tribal energy in me and it felt like a tribal conflict and back in india we used to cut peoples throats for shit like that"....( uhh hmm excuse me????)CUT MY THROAT?FOR WHAT?For checking up why your giving my brother shit after he contributed from his time and energy and talent for your event?YOU ARE MORE THEN WELCOMED TO TRY AND DO THAT MR.TRIBAL WARRIOR,IM WAITING!!!!
On another note,these people(vish &rachel) are into the psy trance scene only for about 1 year,they have no clue about psychedelic trance music or organization,all of their artists who they get to play they get through Daksinamurti(dj from germany who was shocked when he heared what hapened),THEM AND THIR VIOLENT NATURE HAS NO PLACE IN THE
NEW YORK CITY PSY TRANCE COMMUNITY OR IN ANY OTHER PSY TRANCE SOMMUNITY FOIR THAT MATTER,THE DO NOT BELONG TO THE PSYTRANCE FAMILY AND THEY DONT DESERVE PEOPLE BLESSING THEIR PARTIES WITH THEIR PATRONAGE/ASSISTANCE/TALENT/CREATIVITY/VIBES/ENERGY OR STOMPING FEET!!!!

Goa the"real" good old goa with the great vibes and energy is all gone all that`s left now is commercialism,thieves/robbers,THROAT CUTTERS,and the flea markets that vish and rachel are trying to bring to new york parties as well(which is complete crap,at the real goa flea markets years ago the ones that were started by the hippies they all used to trade,now days its all about the money and all the money hungry types buy all that cheap made indian and chinese merchandise for a 1$ or 2 and sell it at the party for 25-30$ if u dont believe me then by all means go and research for yourself how much it costs to buy this crap.So cut the crap and stop mixing a psychedelic experience with "MAKING MONEY ON DOLLAR MERCHANDISE"(OR ANY KIND OF BULLSHIT YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL),GO BACK TO MUBAI OR GOA OR WHEREVER THE HELL YOU CAME FROM AND TAKE YOUR NEGATIVE FAKE GOA VIBES WITH YOU!!!!

Just wanted to state that all bookings for Metaforce are
done by themself and not by me.
Sure its shit what happened there but i believe you guys will get that sorted out somehow.
I can tell from my own experiences how stressy it is to make a party and maybe cause of that Vish lost his temper.

my mistake Daksi,they havent had that many events anyway and what i shouldhave typed was that you helped them with getting one artist for their event,but as far as the booking goes its all done by them.

I only hope that new york dj`s/artists and party goers realize who these people are and what they are about,befor contributing their time and energy to one of their events.

well mr moment im really shocked to read so much rubbish ... its full of offence and has no objective arguments at all ... makes me sick when i read stuff like that... who are you to judge who are real goa ppl ??
For me it seems that someone here is trying to wreck a name of 2 ppl who from my eyes seem to care a lot about the scene ...
I met Rachel and Vish in india this year and from my experience they are some off the best ppl i ever met...
sure party can put some ppl into big stress and i think even Vish feels sorry somehow for is reaction. to use violence is not excusable at all... but sometimes the temper can play bad tricks ...
About money issues make sure everyone make contracts about the agreements so there wont be no discussions like that...
I cant understand why stuff like this cant be sorted in private no need to wash dirty dishes in public ...
i think thats it ok to criticise in an normal constructive way and even necessary ... but things like this are way over the line Mr Moment.
Also keep in mind that this was the second party of them !!
so enough now everyone take the chill pill

boy am i glad that the ice has been broken about this. i choose to remain anonymous to protect my identity because i dont think it is important for this situation.
i have also been witness to the chaos that eminates from metaforce. they have seem to cut themselves off from all other promoters in the nyc area. and when i say cut themselves off i mean in a harsh and vulgar way. when they choose to disassociate themselves from people or anonther promoter they make sure to do it blatantly with foul curses, insults, and even physical violence. CUTTING THROATS? i wouldnt doubt for one second that they are capable of doing something like this.
they pretend to care about the scene but if they really cared why do they have so many enemies? i cant even count on my fingers the amount of enemies they have now from nyc all the way to san francisco. a lesson that every promoter should know is that everyone, no matter who it is, should be your friend because as psytrance promoters you are responsible for brining people together and not separating yourselves from them in violent ways.
the metaforce people are indeed drugged up heavily on MDMA. any impressions of them being warm and happy people are just an illusion caused by the effects of MDMA. they run around at their parties with wide eyes that cant focus on anything but the crazy thoughts in their heads. if you dont think like them, they automatically shitlist you without regard for who you are.
hang out with these people when they are sober and you will quickly learn their miserable personalities. lots of shit talking behind peoples backs and insults. two faced to the max.
they dont pay their DJs, and what i heard they are no longer on good terms with their graphic designer who designed flyers and logos for them--they owe lots of people money and im sure that they dont even thinking twice about paying them. they expect people to work for free most of the time.
the metaforce people (only two) think they know what is best for the super large psy community but as an individual in this much larger community, we out number metaforce in our vision. go take your bullshit somewhere else or be prepared to be forced out by the community as you're experiencing now.

This thread is really disappointing and disgusting. All of the anonymous posters are invited to discuss their complaints with us directly rather than airing their horrible negativity here.
Nobody is forced to come to our parties. We offer our version of a full power, positive trance experience - and if you are not interested, and you don't like Rachel and Vish, please don't feel compelled to join us.
A Warning: Rachel's belly may indeed be showing again at the next party. BEWARE!!!

this topic is important to the new york trance community, it should remain open for now as a channel for the discussion, rather then offtopicing party topics with posts in this issue or other issues with this promoter group. surely the level of words can rise, especially from user "moment" - what you are doing is downright mudslinging and is quite disturbing.
since all persons and parties are regular users of isratrance, there is no reason to not have an actual discussion and a possible positive resolution to it from all sides. metaforce, there is nothing to be 'dissapointed' about - seems there are some serious conflicts between you and a group of people and you can maturely discuss it rather then evade it. just as you use this forum for your free promotion sometimes your duties as users are to give explanations and clear up issues when/if they arise.
good luck to all in achieving a positive outcome, with much care and love to the new york trance family...

there is certainly nothing wrong with voicing a grievance against a promoter in a public forum such as this...while i'm not accusing Metaforce in this instance, too often artists or other service providers are taken advantage of and end up staying silent for fear of losing bookings or making enemies or something like that...this is especially prevalent in NY and I know for a fact you'll have a hard time finding an organizer w/ a perfectly clean record...public forums like these are one of the only ways artists have of defending their interests and pressuring organizers to be ethical...also, i'd recommend that unless there is complete trust between an artist and organizer - if there is some kind of compensation involved then a contract should be used. it's not difficult nor should it be deemed a disrespectful gesture...that way, we don't end up with misunderstandings and nasty disputes like this. having said this, the private business dis/agreements between organizers and their artists should have little to no bearing on whether people should attend their parties....people should make their partying decisions solely based on the quality of the experience provided by the organizers, because if we're going to make this judgement based on unrelated unethical behavior, then you might as well just stay home and make your own parties. in the end, what is ethical or unethical is too open to interpretation and only the parties involved really know the facts. i also feel there can be a productive outcome from this discussion, but anyone who wants to be critical from this point forward better do so with a level and rational head without needless smearing and mudslinging, or you'll have a hard time being taken seriously and your words will just do more harm than good. |

The disturbing thing about all of this is not if one likes Rachel and Vish, or not only
if they did or did not pay somebody: the disturbing thing is that the host
physically attacked, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE REASONS ARE, a person at his party.
And then talk about "respect" That is unheard of in trance, where supposedly
it's all about Shanti (peace), Cosmic energy, "uniting". I asked around, and
found out that in NY it only happened once in early 1998 when Gula (Acis Phisix
- no longer in US) reportedly attacked an italian girl, and it shocked the
community.
I don't know, but I've been told, if you keep on dancing you won't grow old. |

There was an argument, 2 guys after a long party, tired and Testosteroned out, one spat on the equipment so the other punched him...has nothing to do with nationality and could be a scene out of any party aftermath.
I'm really tired of these baseless generalizations about "Goa" and "Indians" and "Aggresive Israelis". Punching some one should be unheard of irrespective of the scene SkyBlue, just cause its the Trance scene doesn't make it some huge capital offence of immense evil ancestory. By the way,I find the spitting just as disrespectfull but no one seems to be saying much about that. How come no one is coming up with some solution?? Yes what happened SUCKS....we know it sucks, we do not need 500 posts about how bad it sucks...we don't need the entire North American community on this forum posting their version of "Oh this is just unheard off"...we know its unnacceptable..SO come up with some solution instead of just talking about how horrible it all is.
We don't need stats from the last decade on who got punched when and where and by whom and for what reason Blah! Blah! Blah! thats just baseless gossipping and yes it shocked the community then and its shocked the community now and this is all pointless information. You got anything with substance?? You got any answers or remedial tit bits. A quick fix maybe or are we all going to go on about how bad it bloody sucks.
As Surrender says...resolutions are in order...constructive criticism and not granny type of "Oh!!! my god, did you know that the Indian from Goa punched the Israeli and thats totally unheard of, last it happened was in 1772 when the Tribe leader of the Mountain bandits whipped the Native American Chief who merely wanted some sort of compensation for the exquisite......."

lets all be positive.....and like some learned souls are suggesting.....let there be discussion......but can we all be civil.....not rude.psytrance......is all about.....you all know it....are a part of it.
we are all a big family.......and stuff happens.....even in the closest of relationships.
try and sort out the differences......by still being respectful to all,realizing that all of us are different in our own way......but are still united......by this amazing form of music!
it's the holiday season.......lets pray.....for life,love,friendship,happiness.......and lots and lots of crazy freakin' music.
new york.....there is no place like it!

for some people contracts are a necessity. I suppose it is a pain in the ass but promotors please be professional. So that therell be more parties! |
