The idea to put something in a box not only identifies it, but it also limits it... If you aren't down for what Gil's about, that's cool. As much as I'd love to believe the PLUR thing, it died a slow horrible death to the hands pretentiousness and practicality.
No wonder hippies got a bad name, what they were talking about could have had limitless applications, but now those people are seen as unrealistic dreamers and their concepts get passed off as far fetched... However, let me point out the amount of recycling that's happening in the world... Nobody really wants to acknowledge that it was a concept that the hippies discussed a lot, but it's commonplace to see recycling in many cities around the world... But as soon as you start talking about more things like this, you get told to go hug a tree...

Anyway, you don't have to agree with what he's about... but anyone who's been doing this for as long as he has and hasn't really compromised his vision, should deserve some respect at least for staying true to what he's been about. I can say that others compromised their vision in a lot less time...

just a few things i would like to add here ,,,
There is absolutely NOTHING superhuman about gil , and neither is he a true saddhu.He says himself in the video , the ideology behind being a saddhu is to detatch yourself from the materialistic world and devote your time on this planet to find god within yourself and connect yourself with the enrgies around you.And clearly , its evident that gil hasnt been able to detatch himself from the tribal game , the materialistic world himself (charging 1000$ to play at a party is a clear example of that).He is under no circumstances a genuine saddhu.
Hes chosen his own path , to survive on the planet like any other person , and u have to respect his thoughts and desicions.Hes definetly played a vital role in spreading the message of psytrance all over the globe in his own unique way , dedicating his life to what he believes in !! so respect him for that !!
The people who see him as god and give him the celebrity status , are the same ones who come back here and bitch him out for charging 1000$ at parties and other bullshit.
HE IS JUST HUMAN PEOPLE , like you and me.
Hes been designed by the same DNA code that designed the rest of us.
You have got to stop worshiping other people and depending on others to find answers.Divinity Lies within all of us , each person is unique in his own way.Utilize the ancient wisdom and modern science to connect yourselves with universe.and above all , respect everyone , whether its goa gil or your gardener.
