i was thinking a lot about it since my girlfriend is not into trance at all!and sometimes she is pissed at me when sitting for hours in front of the pc working in cubase !fortunatelly she is an artist too(violin player) and also singer in a band,so when we re together we usually listen to other kindz of musik,or even play quitar and violin 2gether!also in the beggining she had no prob with the but latelly she is saying that our children will be destroyed(f@ckin memory loss) heheheh!also i hear many ppl who are into trance saying that it is better to find a lover that has no relationship at all!what do u think??

My gf likes trance and chillout + other kinds of music.

It was like that when we met also, and its really great to be able to share music like that.

So, no drawback.

I'm in the same situation of you, X_RUST.

I would really enjoy if my girlfriend start to like psy, but I don't think this will happen...

They say love is blind, I guess in my case it is deaf.

What about sending over a picture, Cutie?

IMO wen the woman is not appreciating wat u do.... u have to learn to balance between the two ....

if u cant choose between the two..... give up on one......

i wud choose my cosmic life...... a woman who comes will go one day...... ur muzik will always be there beside u......

never give up anything for a woman... no offence ladies....

in this special case i gotta agree with you...

i was together for more than 2 years with a girl who wasn't into trance at all. i really loved her, but at the same time i was heavily active with organizining/djing in the psy scene here in swiss. at one point i was more on parties than at home with my girl. My passion for psychedelics turned into obsession and i had to decide: either the music or the girl...

it broke my heart to give her (the girl of course) up, but with the language of music i can reach out to more people and contribute something the scene here (and satisfy my own desires at the same time )... it was the right decision.

ps: hey cutie, wanna pass by? germany ain't that far from swiss

@ membrain_cell

sofar it has been the right decision, but sometimes i mourn the lovely times i spend with my girl together...

i guess you can call this decision the opportunity cost:

the most valuable forgone alternative

to be serious on the topic, i think, doesnt really matter what musci u listen or like or for that matter what cigarette u smoke or what underwear u like to wear & ur gf/bf does not like the same, it's all good.

I think this is not an appropriate reason to break up a relationship rather the relationship is not true if there are any such problems between the couples.... Relationship should only be made with the one who understands & accept ur likes & dislikes & vice versa.....
