Well, a girlfriend and psy scene have alot in commun you know..
- they both take up alot of our money
- They both look at others and try to be the same, or better
- They both complain the minute you don't do what they want/expect
- They take INSANE amounts of our time
- every once in a while you have to tell them how much you love em
- They both expect you to Dj for free
- when you go to a big festival, they both want to sleep in your tent or ask you for a ride to get there
- they both come at bad times
- they only think of themselves
- when it comes down to it, they can both suck my dick too.. HAHA
(i've obviosuly joking here)
but yeah, my girlfriend isn't into trance music like me, nor does she really know the different between infected mushroom and Beckers BUT luckly she gives good head.. lol..
and yeah, she gets burnt out always following me to parties and complain i don't look after her enough at parties..
But in general, it works out ok but too often can get them pissed off, especially when the parties are a flop..

I have a big issue about this me and my girlfriend love psytrance , we have been togueter since 2003, 3 years now, the big problem is that i do live act and she gets really jelous when im upthere becasue she says she cant tolerate all the girls looking at me and she hates that at the point that almost brake up with me, :S :S daamn is really harsh to be in a situation like that, i love her like u dont have idea, that even get to the point to hate playing live act, so it's a really fuck up sittuation, it's not like im gonna kiss or talk to the girls that maybe look at me when im playing live act i have never did it and i will never do, i pray some day for that she can undestand this problem and can this thing go away besides that we dont have anymore problem related to parties and trance

my man has never been to trance parties, but i made him listen to my music, and he started using the word psychedelic a bit excessivly to describe any distorted visual or color!!
he's not into the music, but he wouldn't mind going to parties and festivals.. fair enough

When my bf started listening to trance, i would constantly niggle him saying how do u listen to this stuff-- i cant even tell the songs apart!! I wasnt very musical altogether n hadnt found myself then...
It was only when he took me to a goa party in Switzerland that i got infected n started loving the music and the whole scene  I think it brought us alot closer because he eventually got into music production and we would spend hours together discussing the music and he gave me the title of being his music 'critic'!! Although i still do get annoyed n feel neglected when he spends hours in his studio but i know how proud i feel when i listen to his tunes or even better at parties when he's doing his live-act!!
Works out perfect now because we share music, organize small events together, he encouraged me to start mixing and passes all his retired equipment to me and just recently bought me a dj controller!!
He's not only my soulmate but an institution that i learned so much from- If your reading this just wanted to say thanks babe n i love u

love is a bitch, sometimes i wish i could be married to marijuana, she is a fine lady, smells good and never lets you down.
sometimes i think its hard to enjoy the sweet taste of love, cause the feeling of betray is sometimes very strong, you never know if your love is answerd.

why not... trance isn't 4 everybody... if she cant understand what u like, maby u try to explaine her, even than if she dont get it, let it flow with out that, there is so many things in other music where u can find pleasure 4 u and her... if i wrong ... what the hell u doin' with her... and if u like so much girls who goes to rave, go find her there... i personaly like psy, like my boyfriend but truly psy is not the reason why we are thogeter psy and other things just come along, 2 complete us...dont undervalue girls who dont like psy... give them time or think twice is trance the reason why u with here or not

Well my gf came to my biggest party in years on the weekend, she only stayed for an hour or so, it is the fact that I am so busy running aroung trying to do stuff, but I am lucky to be in love with soemone who understands and repects one of my greatest passions. And she does not get jealous or ask me stupid questions. Go Jen. |

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who is with someone close who doesn't like trance...
I've tried to give my girlfriend a sampling of different forms of trance music, but she dismisses most psy effects as silly, prog trance as gay club/coke music, and chillout as hippie/drug music... She's more into dark ebm/industrial music, and she appreciates electronic music, but for her vocals are very important to her and psychedelic sounds that have no tonal quality are a no no...
Anyhow, I go to psy parties AND I go to her goth/indus parties to prove to her I at least am open to different styles of music, given enough alcohol  |
