My ex-girlfriend used to hate trance. So the effect on her was that she got dumped

I just saw 'em live at Wonderland 10, they are amazing!!!! Very nice psytrance with a guy playing the violin over it!!! I'm sure your girlfriend can appreciate it, although it's clear that she'll never like the music as much as you do. This way though, she at least knows how proffessional our scene is, and that all instruments can have a place within the scene.
My wife LOVES psytrance, she decorates, paints, makes clothing and is a superb poi/staff artist. It does make our relationship easier!

Trance women are great, they're a lot like hippie womens, except they take showers. And your average trance woman (at least where Im from) behaves with loads more self respect than most other women of the same age (american college girls is who I'm comparing to). Some people here just have it all backwards. It's trance women that are worthy of serious attention, it's the women of the barbarian, materialist world that we should use when we just want to blow a load in a female.

Both my GF and I smoke like villains, although never during the day (We both hold semi-responsible city jobs).
She had never got into trance before she met me. I took her to her first festival and she loved it. She prefers the chilled out / dubby / good quality stuff to the actual 4x4 beat trance, which i agree, is pretty forumlaic and shitty.
She doesnt mind when I put some Sphongle or some Trentemoller on. Some Hallucinogen In Dub is also a favourite of hers.
Its great, I show interest in her music and she shows interest in mine. Isnt that the way it should be?

personally i could never be with somone who didnt like trance... it just wouldnt work out as i listen to trance or trance related chill out all the time...
fortunately my gf is really into trance! i met her on a dance-floor!!

Try teaching her about psytrance and about cubase. Since she is a musician she might find it interesting. Also try doing it in a way that would be easy for her to understand. women think in a very diferent way that men do.
If psytrance is a big part of your life then you should not have problems with your girl about it.

heheheh funny thing,i was thinking the same thing today since i am moving backto the town she lives(i am away for the summer) and i thought it would be very nice to do something like that!she is familiar with computers so it is very possible to do something together,or maybe record her vocals or violin and work in a project together
and no,i dont have any problems about it,neither she has!she is just not into psytrance!

Sad but true. Maybe it is an effect of too much tripping on one's own. In this case I think the only way is for the other one to accept you as you are, i.e. a mad alien .
