I'm really not sure if I could be with a girl that didn't like my music, I think that if I was it would cause serious problems beacause I'm listening to this stuff 24 hours a day !!!

My girlfriend loves all my music and is more of a headcase than I ever was (you'll see me drifting in the chill out these days!) but she does object to me playing Para Halu whilst she's in the bath or trying to make a phonecall at home !! I think it is a very important thing to be able to share your experiences with music with someone very close to you, I've had many special moments listening to psychedelic music and not to be able to show this to a partner would be a real shame.

from my experience .. chicks that are heavyly into psy are best avoided where relationships come in .. sorry if this is sounding chauvnist or watever .. but all the drugs and the crazy lifestyle .. just dosnt make for a nice girlfriend .. iv been with quiet a few psy hardcore chix .. they stunk .. now im hapily settld with a girl for 2 yrs almost now .. shes into completely diffrent things .. but we still go to psy parties and have a nice time .. she dosnt mind .. and i quiet enjoy the simpler and nicer pleasures life has to offer .. the occatiional clubbing , movies .. nice dinners .. what can i say .. im happy and in love .. and a lot of my buddies also agree that `regular` women make for better partners .. yeah .. ok .. so my advice to all .. have fun with these raver type silly acid chicks .. but thats it .. find a nice woman and enjoy life ... hehe ..

F* that for me marryin a nontrancer would be a little like a Jewish person marryin' a goyim who isn't down to convert. Someone who doesnt share with me having had the psytrance-dance catharsis, I could surely love such a person for who they are, but in a relationship there would always be something missing, I would always feel a little superior in having known relms of the mind that are beyond the wildest dreams of my love. In the end it would drive me mad if I could not go to those worlds with her, frolick with her in oceans of ecstatic light.

It is very important to me that my children be raised with psychedelic values and I want to marry someone that I can count on to be with me in that respect.

Im just lucky Im not both Jewish and shall we say "trance orthadox" then I'd really have small pond to fish in

"psychedelic values" you mean hippie values?

its not a problem, all you need to find is a openminded girl, she dont have to be a psyhead, i listen to many different kinds of music, and it all gets me off in different ways, like today before work i got crazy with some hard pumping "CPU - killer rabbit"
and danced like hell... i need that dose, just like i need "Bob Marley - natural mystic" and "Skunk Anansie - Weak"

my girlfriend is a rebel, she likes alot of music, i dont think she will have a problem with some heavy psy from time to time, though i havent had the chance to give her a healthy dose yet....just some vibetribe, but that is something anyone can listen to.
ohh and i havent told her i have a weak spot for mary jane.. time will tell, we share alot of other interests, but the main thing is love.

and to add, not all psy chicks is heavy drug users, im sure you can find lots of nice psy girls, like you can find alot of nice psy guys... if you want to put a label on people that go to psy-parties.

No not hippie values. Maybe more like post-posthippie values (yuppie values, if you can call them that are posthippie values). "Psytrance values" as they are to me are more technology friendly than hippie values. Instead of rejecting technological progress, I feel that psytrance culture embraces a more "back to the future" approach, reviving archaic sensibilties through modern means. Psytrance values IMO put more value scepticism and critical thinking than hippie values do. Psytrance is also more tangibly global than hippie culture, there is far more exchange of artists and partiers between nations than in the hippie subculure afik. Psytrance values clearly stem from hippie values, but I feel that they are their own thing.

Maybe values isnt even the right word.. also subtle sensibilties and ways of percieving the world. Most of the women of Psy have something intangible but essential that 99% of women outside just dont seem to.

Sometimes if I find a girl that I like who is pure and little,I try to hide my psychedelic trance trippy habbits..but after a few dates I cannot keep my self hidden because I dont feel comfortable to show a non psychedelic point of view,I want to be always true, and then the pure little girl starts to think that I am a mad alien, and then she leaves me alone again...
It is a matter of mind, waves and lentgths of the vibe frequency...
That makes me usually not get involed with pure little girls...           ~~~~~~~namaskar~~~~~~~~~
