Hi there people following some threads and some beleifs of my own i have a question i want to ask you.

Do you see trance as music that uplifts you spiritually or not?

I want to see how many of us think this music and lifestyle helped them to aquire a better spiritual freedom and life like myself i have had moments of intense spirituality during good sessions of trance and this is what makes it different than other scene's in my opinion! but i wanna know how many of us think same on isratrance!

waiting for your opinion brothers

It's mainly party music nowadays. It just evolved that way. But IMHO there isn't much REAL trance produced today. The way I get in a trance by the music itself is by hearing a wonderful melody repeated a long time. It has to be good though, otherwise it won't work. One of the songs that can put me in a trance is: Blue Planet Corporation - Crystal. And music like that hasn't been produced in this scene for a long time. Only the 12 Moons album brings me close to that atmosphere. So, the way there isn't any real trance and spiritual feeling anymore is because most of the artists produce party music. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but well... go figure.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Yes and no.. Yes because i belive in many of the views of good spiritual persons. And absolutely NO, because i'm a realist. I'm an agnostic to the bone. Guess I got the best from both sides

Oh, and Acidhive has a really good point..

yeahh guys...the music defenately changed...but I think ganja asked how we see trance for ourselfs...
not how trance evolved or how the scene is today in our eyes...

he also didnt ásk about the newest fullon, he asked about trance in general...
so plzz dont let this go into a fullon vs goa discussion again...

I think we have already enough of them...

Yes for me! It uplifts my mind, body and soul to places that my mind loves to venture.           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears

Yes i am asking you people if you see trance as a spiritual uplift in general not today but for you inside what you feel is in the music? I know nowadays it's not the same as before but for you what do you look for in it?

I discussed this with a good friend of mine the other day infact and this is why I love trance so much and why I am infact addicted to it so much.

I have known that I can be a little psycic, and when listening to the music I often predict when certain breaks and beats are going to come into the track. But I often freak myself out when my body interprets the music so well that I make the right moves and know EXACTLY when something is going to happen in the music. Its that subconsicious movement of my body that makes my mind reel, cause here I am moving and dancing to the music and I dont even have to think about it. What makes it even more fun is when I'm listening to music that I can surely not predict (wicked, funky & psycadelic stuff!!), my mind will do it for me and its THAT thrill which keeps me hooked. The euphoria that the music gives me, the energy and the happiness is so indescribable, my breath gets taken away on that dancefloor, and I end up with a silly grin on my face hehehehhee.           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears
