Beautifully put my great friend music changed my life to a better state of consioucness...All i disagree is that it is not spiritual because for me music was always there we humans are just exploring some parts of it! |

Dragongurl and ganjagil I apreciate the way you're open to discuss such a personal issue. Few people are cleaver enough to do that.
Braincase just wrote something close to my opinion.
Just one more observation: the pleasure and spirituality you claim to achieve while listening to psytrance, other people claim to achieve while listening to other different kind of music or even while listening to silence. That's why I don't think psytrance is "exceptionally spiritual".

Fullon i agree with you i am not saying that spirituality is achieved through psy trance all i am saying is that it can be achieved through psy trance because some of it is really spiritual and it touches your hearth! there are sooooo many ways man to achieve spirituality psy trance is one of them

i wd love to that tribe you were talking about ganja that wd not believe in words but emotions and good deeds.,, ( if you have read death postures signature).,, that wd dance in nature and above all be egoless. i have seen it in my dreamz and my trips :wink: that that day is not too far away.

yes, trance is most definatly a spiritual experence. To me it is a style of music which has been around ever since primitive tribes of people walked the face of the earth. It is a way that many people have opened their minds to their God. I believe if we open our minds properly it can open us to sources of life. Trance music was here way before any of us were. It has just evolved over the past however many years.

I am sooo happy that i see many more people are living the same dream! Thanks God we need more and more of this! Beautiful People! Let's do it our love is endless and our dream is more than beautiful next weekend we are organising a party in Malta on the 12th dec and our idea is that the money goes to poor people in Malta as a special help! We party enjoy and even help other people is great!

You shouldnt say that those people are not spiritual ganjagil, cause maybe they have spiritual experiences through other means. I think what you mean is that they dont think psytrance is that spiritual to them

Of course sorry i did not mean to say they are not spiritual i meant that they think psy trance is not spiritual! And nobody is not spiritual my friend some people feel it more than others that's all!

as i already mentioned, i think the problem lies in the word itself.
it´s essential to give a clear definition of spiritual.
i´m sure, a lot of people don´t really know the definition. maybe, some confuse spiritual with religious or something like that...
same for the term "mystical".
i gave you my own definition of SPIRITUAL on page 4 of this thread.
here are more definitions:
-lacking material body or form or substance; "spiritual beings"; "the vital transcendental soul belonging to the spiritual realm"-Lewis Mumford
- The quality of any activity which drives the human being forward towards some form of development -- physical, emotional, intuitional, social -- in advance of his present state.
- in the psychic or dimensional world that we can't see with our regular eyes - what happens at the spiritual level affects us in many ways
- Intellectual Sensual
- of or pertaining to the very deepest nature of life--that part of life in which a person relates to God. |

Deejaridoo amazing words i just love the way you express yourself and you seem to be quite in touch with your innerself! For me this is the meaning of it all, of being spiritual for is being in touch with your real self, killing the ego completely! The human has many minds and ego in fact I think we have about seven specific ego’s to battle with, it is a very intricate battle and to each individual it’s his own battle! But friends help you win this battle they show you if you are not acting good they tell you now if you have a bigger ego than a stronger inner self you would take it defense and find some excuse but if your innerself is more powerful than you understand were your ego came in and kill it for that moment!
Music comes in this way it is a friend who comes in and gives power to your inner self it stimulates your hearth and the soul and for those moments of pure love and happiness in a dancefloor full of people feeling the same way EGO is nullified and the souls can feel the real happiness coming from inside coming from the universe! Those moments are sacred!
Even though today most of our leaders have left us and started leading people to the wrong path in life (Commercial music = money = material = never happy always want more) I believe that like me there will be many newcomers who strongly believe in this and will start to make it happen again! I long and dream for those moments of EGO nullification and that one big super good trance family! It will come, it will come!
