thanks, I already knew which picture you meant before I clicked it.

funny part for me is that this one is taken with my old camera (canon 350d with 28mm lens) which I bought just before sonica 2005. most of the time I walked around with a big bag and my new fuji S5 camera with all kinds of lenses.

it is also my favorite shot together with the ecoteam lady with the garbagebag.
gms fixing things at the start of the set when he suddenly noticed me .
and the guy with the glass ball which almost looks like it's hanging in the air.

break was nice although you missed a big thunderstorm passing the area on tuesday night

thought I could finally sleep but no chance through the thunder. pitty it was that my memorycards were full, my battery empty and my tripod in the car otherwise I could have made some amazing shots

@ XP VOODOO critics about James Monro dj set...
___________________________________________
i think you dont not realize that this dj is one of the best progressif house/trance dj in the world... may be you dont like, but a lot of peoples and psy trancers like this dj man..

why you say lot of shit about him?
I was nt to sonica this year, but i organized a psy trance festival in canada some weeks ago and James monro played after protoculture at our festival, and his set was really crazy. with good energy and vibrations... the same style and energy that his set at boom festival in portugal in 2004!Because its not full on and psychedelic is not good ?? i think that now, the psychedelic trance festival need a good mixe between progressif and psy trance... that good receip for have all peoples on the dance floor together in the same festival, call unity...

If James Monro played at the end of sonica this year, you don t realize that was the decision of Edoardo?? your comments are not objective i think... You don t like, its ok, but it s not a reason to say lot of shit about the flying rhino wizard...

ciao ciao amigos!

Perfect Stranger certainly did blow us all away with his tunes selection at Sonica!

Look forward to seeing him play again in Brazil..

In a 5 day long festival its certainly very important to have a varied line-up, who can stand to hear the same style for all those nights and days??

Damn i missed the monday sets, there was alot of names i wanted to hear, incl. James.

James Monroe is one of the living legends in the scene, always interesting to hear what he´s up to thats for sure.
Im sure he finished the festie in style

Btw DICKSTER was my favourite set at sonica 2007.          www.myspace.com/michaelbanel

Actually I really liked how Sonica finished, it was a little different from odinary festivals, but amazing to hear that music standing on the top of the mountain facing the sunset, it really seemed everything so unreal..

What I said about J. Monroe set being a disappointed does not come from a narrow minded opinion. Did not expect psytrance set from him. I listen to everything: rock, house, techno, psytrance!!
Heard so much about his dj set and I was expecting him to be different from the rest. I also expeced his set to be much better than it actually was.
This is my personal opinion of course. And I also think that your favourite artist/dj can be on a bad night and fail to match the expectations...

i would say that expectations is the last thing that we should bring with us to tripping and dancefloors. i also listen to all kinds of music. james monroe totally rocked my ending of the festival : )))) i would love to hear him playing again!
