just got back yesterday evening. fantastic festival music wise - really enjoyed peter digital, liquid soul, ace ventura and perfect stranger....allaby, dick trevor and much more good music. music wise a very good festival - could not understand the white powder action at nite but this is a personal thing. the location was beautiful but not the best i ever seen.
my personal opinion of things you should have an eye on for the next edition:
- sprinklers on the main dancefloor - can you imagine how much more often a dancing human being is breathing and can you imagine the amount of dust in the lungs of the peeps after sonica?
- was there any decorations? - cause what i saw was a minimum - sorry guys i know you can do better
- the chillout/alternative floor should maybe be splitted
in 2 floors next time? maybe?
- a bit of a parking problem
- shade - much more shade for the main dancefloor
the rest was just fantastic and very, very well organised
had a great time there - and saw many familiar faces

It was good...when i finally could get in...
When we arrived with our camper, they say that it was full, so we had to find a place somewhere in the mountain. So that took us like 2 hours, we walked back up, and left the camper...then they say there is more then enough place, so we have to get the camper back.... very frustrating. Offcourse, i want quality if I pay 100 euro entrance.
Very bad toilets and showers, and no more line up books availble, (rrr, i really need that) I also thought the soundsytem would be better for that price. (it was not bat, but not impressive)
And deco? not so much i tought
But the good things:
Wonderfull location (but take a more easy location next year please)
Great music (all kinds from minimal to dark)
Good food
and offcourse the SUN ;-)
Sorry to be so negative, i know it's not easy to make a big festival on a location like this...but if they can do it in the middle off Africa, it should be possible in Italia.
I will be back next year, and hope they are ready to receive 6000 people.

I must agree with Woutski here, this party was best for me since the new years Universo Paralello. Amazing spot of nature, really nice setup with the main stage far from the "Tent Town" and the shops / food places. Super clean festival, very nice to see that happens with event such as big. Good music and superb vibes on noon / afternoon dancefloor.

Just home from Sonica + holidays, full report will follow ASAP.
But, shortly, for me this edition of Sonica was the best of all three!!!!

I will never forget this edition!
What a wonderful place!!! And what great people in there! I had a lot of fun, I've met new friends form all over the world... the food was awesome, and the sound system one of the best!!
At first look I was a little bit disappointed for the few decos and lights by night and the few water in the showers which created a very big deal, I really hope that team Sonica for the next time will do better with this for the next edition..
The music was awesome, thanks to all the artist which really did a great job!Stella Nutella,GMS, Etnica,Wrecked Machines,Deedrah, Sylicon Sound,Ace Ventura,XP Voodoo, Tristan.......and the others and to all the freaky people which made everything so nice and special!
And will never forget all the sunrise I've seen from the top of the mountain!

Magical dreamed place ... full of, "fairies", happy faces lot of fun, positive vibes, great music from almost all artists , sound was good no perfect, the main stages was in a very clever and nice location but need more deco ....
Bravo Sonica crew great job
The thoughts are free and they don't obey in rules. On them we found the freedom of person and they dominate brilliantly in the nature... they create a new paradise, a new fixation, a new source of energy from which new arts spring up. |

sonica was great vibe and clean festival!
somethings could be better (nothing is perfect)
, like the showers, bathrooms and the duracell tent. (:
The ecoculture theme was very present in the festival place, and in my opinion it results a lot, because in general the festival was very clean and lot of ppl are being very well educated about ecoculture.
I was happy to see so many Portuguese friends there, and lot of portuguese ppl working on the area...see you around friends!
Hope next time sonica team do even better work to surprise us all one more time.
next year we are there again.
