sad to read the story and i am happy no one got
really hurt by the security.
great nelson & keira were there to take care of the artists.
lets go back to small festivals and connect again!

all has pretty much been said, hope the full truth transpires in due course. Im still willing to keep an open mind and believe JP just didn't want to see realistic sense and continued to push for the festival...whether the security stole the money in the first place, or got violent as they weren't gonna get paid coss someone else stole the cash remains to be seen.
And now for a POSITIVE note, coss there havent been too many of these, we had an amazing time the first night, things were falling into place (at that time at least), deco was being set up, the mian rig was up and running, there was that special vibe you get at a festie when it kicks off (particularly after the obstacles this one faced) and then Neuromotor played a wicked 3 hour set! Banging till the end, the sheet!
Shame it all went tits up after that, still, we didnt run into any nasty business, cops just kindly asked us to leave the morning of the 3rd day, some nice folk gave us a lift to Avis, chilled at the bus stop, took a bus to Porte de Sor (sp?) and stayed poolside there for a day having our own little fest with some cool German travellers as we had lots of tunes and happiness left!
Our mates went through to Freedom, gutted, me and my gf had to come back home, hear it's wonderfull there. ...=(...
Won't be there for "Next Shamanik Festival : 12 - 16 August 2009", thats for sure, see what finally comes of the fallout from this one.

I [from start] disliked the way this was going. First, I respekt the fact that many people are pissed of and are now using this thread to freely express their will, many new people. Please try to use clear and clean language, use PMs for private messages, show respect! There is no point in using this room for fighting or to solve personal deals, those messages will get deleted. This has turned out just like one could have imagined: never could the juice ever be worth the squeeze in this festival (at least from this thread's whole experience), so yeah everyone should be responsible for their choices keep head straight and move on.
