Yes, it is coincidence.... What else ?
The first one had people blaberring on on every forum about how much money they needed to pay just the flight tickets and how badly they needed people to come to work with them (which means they had no money AND no real team !). So what's happened in the end was totally predictable...(as unpaind artists come bitching on isratrance, unpaid security goes direct for the cash wherever it is !)
The second one had (for what I know) enough money and a real team but keep quiet until the end about not having proper licence....
No need to see any conspiration there... |

not agreeing with you tris - i total mess like on this 2 festivals has nothing to do with bitching around on forums of any people. this is called the freedom of speech...
the mess this organisers have done is called - an absolute
lack of professionalism, organisation skills and no idea on how to run a big scale festival in another country.
and not having the right amount of social responsability and social compentence to even recognize what the consequences can be when the organisation is like this.
we talk about human beings here - which had to go through nightmares - just and because of the facts i described....and this is the bad news.

I never said this is the bitching of a few people that caused the mess...
I rather said the opposite : a few artists biching around (that's their own words - read a few pages back) are much less dangerous than unpaid security. But if one doesn't have the money for the artists one week before the event, you can also expect big problems with the security or food or sound system etc on site.....
Lack of professionalism, you're right !

hi,
i haven't been to either of these festivals (freaky or shamanik, tho friends have gone to play at both and i've yet to hear their stories). i can't comment on these two but i would like to say that there are a lot of organisers out there doing it just for the love - a lot that are not-for-profit events - ours is (newfoundland) and the workhouse festival (also in wales) is. some organisers pay and work and work and pay to make something that's beautiful, just because they want to be on the dancefloor with people they love. let's not forget how many good people are still involved in organising events. maybe if customers weren't so concerned with big name line-ups then the parties wouldn't be so commercial - the need for money doesn't always originate with the organisers.
anyway... i don't know what happened at these two... what a terrible year for events so far. like that d-ream track from eight million years ago, surely things can only get better...?

i'm shocked that people take this crap serious!!
For me, it's very clear from the beggining that JP is no victim, and of course he ran away with the money, the stolen stuff AND his security friends!!!
come on, anyone believe in this pink story? It's not the first he creates to justify his acts... now people feel sorry for the thief that brings so many artists and trancers to PT in order to rob them and get MORE money???
amazing... same old story and it works everytime

im with you serguei... it seems very fantastic for be truth... jp has no courtesy with me and my friends and the security staff looks like very aggresive people.
It's very sad... people uses trance for self profit... and we had very nice vibes and illusion on this festival and there are broken now.
JP climb to a high mountain and get there and forget the trance... |

the number of my presale ticket was around the 900...
i paied 90€ but if i were brought two months ago it costs 70 or 80 don't remember...
he got a lot of money with the presales... |
