You are the people of the future. Together we can evolve, together we can heal, together we can enjoy the paradise we will make for ourselves and those around us.

The lack of time is no excuse for a mediocre tracklist. This is just another CD with no other purpose than bringing in money. (though this is for a good cause...)

Perhaps it would still make a good CD to impress friends with... I can imagine...

"Hey look, I bought this 3CD set!"
*looks at tracklist* "But his consists mostly of bad tracks and released, good tracks!"
"Yes, but the money went to charity!"
"Whoooooooaaaaah!"

Cinos, don't buy it. Its ok, you don't have to. Really.

And please, spend your energy somewhere else. Don't bring us down with your negative shit.

Bad tracks? You know them? If they are unreleased? Wooooooooow! you are the dood.

I'm just putting some balance into things. Only good critique isn't good.

I didn't say anything about the unreleased tracks.

ADD: It's not the comp itself that annoys me but the way people hype it as the best compliation ever. And while it has some good music (though released), it isn't NEAR the best.

unbeleivable negative comments in this post!!

Chris mate, you have done an incredible job to get all this sorted in such a short space of time. Yes I have quite a few of the tracks on this - but it's nice sometimes to have them all compiled like this; and of course it is for a great cause. I will be ordering mine as soon as I've finished typing!

No more bitching comments !!            - - It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice... - -

People should be able to share their opinion - positive or negative without being attacked. Is this cause so fragile and tabu that there's no room for critique at all? I dont think so.
But it's sure a great job you've done and I will for sure buy the compilation. People buy it dont download it!

Just to your info. I had 2 unreleased tracks for you 1 chill (Elysium vs. Space Cat) and 1 progressive (Elysium Project) but you never answerd me back when I wrote 2 e-mails to you and your inbox here at isratrance is full. A shame. I guess I should have tried to contact you in public but I thought you would come back to me sooner or later.

Again it's a great idea and effort. I personally would have liked to see more different genres represented on it but that's just my opinion.

Keep up the good work and people BUY it!

Thats sucks, i had loved to see elysium on the comp.
And u r right no one is 'bitching' here, people should learn to handle negative critics. I see it the same way a lot of hype in this thread. The tracklist is 'ok' but not that special, so with the Elysium tracks they had (i think so) two more special and unreleased tracks.

People be true to urself, the purpose is of this cd is
1. benefit for people who need help and this is good, but people need help all the time around the world, u just jump on the train of the medial commercialtion of this 'event' (event as term of the medias)

so the 2. purpose is bringing the label name in all mouth, make it known. I don't say this is something bad, it is good for ur label and good for a lot of people that need help.

But u need to accept critism and not say it is just bitching because u don't like what people say.

I personally thought about buying this cd, but i will not coz

1. I don't like the tracks
2. I helped people and will help people without being part of a hype, coz i wanted and i will want help them coz of LOVE.

People get their hair cut off for charity all the time. Just because a haircut is nothing special doesn't detract from the effort being made, and when people start threads to say their raising money by getting their head shaved, looking for sponsors, you don't get people writing saying they already have their head shaved and they don't think it's anything special. And if they think there's a better way of raising money, or they think that there's a more worthy cause, they don't try and 'criticise' the effort someone is making, or the people sponsoring them; they go out there and put their energy into raising money in their own way, for the causes they see fit.

Chris Organic has put an immense amount of effort into compiling this album, and it will not be earning a penny for himself or for the label. In fact, despite the fact that production expenses will to some degree be recouped, it's losing him (and me) money because we have donated an unreleased track to the CD which we will now no longer be able to sell elsewhere (but that's all part of donating ). In those circumstances, do you really begrudge him or the label the inevitable publicity this will generate?

As for unreleased tracks that never made it onto the album, I know for a fact that many, many acts offered unreleased tunes. But there was only limited space on the CDs, and Chris had to decide how to compile the CD so that it would sell the most copies. Can you blame him for going for the biggest, most commercial acts he could?

Agreed, there are millions of people in need of similar aid all over the world, many of whom are forgotten soon after their plight is brought to our attention, but does that mean we can't chose to help this group of people?

Bottom line for me is that this album is not like most CDs that get released; it's not intended to be cool, or new, or even appeal to a particular sub-sub fraternity of the trance scene. It's meant to shift units for a good cause, pure and simple.

Colin I get your point but I cant stop thinking that a Compilation looking like this will sell even more copies

CD 1: Full On /psy
CD 2: Progressive
CD 3: Ambient / Downbeat

It would for sure have covered more people's taste and therfore in my humble opinion sell more.

But again go and buy it - It's for a good cause.

HandA, it certainly sounds like a shame that Chris didn't get a chance to read your emails. Even if he had, I know he has his own vision and is not easily dissuaded from what he thinks is right.

However he's put the effort in, not us, and this is the album we have as a result. When you start a record label it wil be you in the position of having to take these decisions... and not before then.

There's a joke in here about psy-heads and lightbulbs that need changing. Let's not make fools out of ourselves by dragging the whole thing down.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

maybe to those who actually KNOW the difference between different genres of Psytrance yes..... BUT in the end this will appeal to people in all degrees of the psy scene!! People who know their psy, and those who like the music but have no idea what 'progressive' vs 'full-on' is. I think on that note it will appeal to more people ;-)

*** Ahhh what it was like to love it all because it was psy.... not only because it was within the genre of Neo-full on, Proggy, Full-on, Chill, etc etc etc ****

Cant we just agree one thing here.... we are all only in this to make as much money as possible to help out those who need it most at the moment... they have lost EVERYTHING, and here people sit and argue over how the benefit CD should have been made.

I have no intention to tell anyone how to make the CD. I just express what i feel and how I think it would have raised more money. Isen't that what it's all about in the end?
If that's wrong then I am sorry. But I just don't agree MissRobin when you say that the way you made this CD will raise most money. I fail to see how excluding such a big genre as progressive is, will make more money to the victims of the Tsunami. After all the people that will buy this CD are already in the scene. Maybe a few outside the scene will buy it but my guess is that 99% will already be inside the scene.

But I'll shut my mouth and let you get on with your good work. I will still buy the CD because of the good cause. Not the music.
