WE dont wanna publish the tracklisting, cos its changing day by day. The curent list looks something like this:

We have made a quick summary of all the information for the CD on our index page for promotion to other sources and thought it may be beneficial to you guys until Organic has it all up on their page, including the flyer, the banner, artists involved, how to order, etc....
This is until Organic has it all up on their site and to save you lot the hassle of flipping thru 6 pages of posts

Yeah, that's a great idea! There are tragedies happening all over the world that don't get the attention of the media in the way that the tsunami did, and millions of people are suffering right now, suffering that could be alleviated if the Western world gave as many donations totheir cause as they have in the past few weeks. One example of this is in the Sudan, where a whole population is caught up in the most terrible situation; over a million people have been forced into refugee camps in the state of Darfur because of the violence there:

I think the reason why the tsunami earthquake caught our attention so much is that it happened suddenly. One minute all was well, the next minute thousands of people had died and large areas of many countries were devastated. This made it easy for us to focus on. Slow-burning tragedies like that in Sudan are much harder for the media (and us) to focus on for the lengths of time necessary; sadly our sense of sympathy seems only able to focus on something for so long. I only hope that the attention this one disaster has gained does not come at the expense of those suffering in other, less news-worthy parts of the world.
This is where you come in, EYB. Because you came up with the idea I think you should maybe start your own record label to do these benefit CDs. Go for it!

I completely agree..... I have in the past done several parties that all proceeds went to charity. Be it local charities such as battered women or homeless children, it still is nice to help out others in whatever way possible.
I urge everyone to take part in it one way or another. If you cannot afford to give ALL benefits to charity, then maybe something as simple as taking a bit off admission for ppl that bring 2 articles of clothing, or 2 tins of food. It really is easy to do if you just put a little heart behind it ;-)
