EP, can a dog kill you?

If it can, than you got a problem way too serious to discuss in trance forum.

If it can't, if it would just make you feel uncomfortable, than you should 'take one for the team' and suffer quietly.

Dogs CAN be a problem at parties. But it's up to the owner to decide whether or not his dog would fit in. Saying "no dogs allowed" is very unpsytrancy.           If God dropped acid, would he see people?

What a weird attitude dude! No surprise it come from a dogowner!
So I should suffer "quitely" for the team so you can bring your dog?

I have aquestion for you dude. Does it kill you to let the dog stay home?

Yes let's just bring all the dogs and dont give a rat's ass about what other people think. And if they suffer from allergies then heck it's their own fault... They can just stay home... OR SUFFER QUITLY FOR "THE TEAM" !!!!!!
We the dog owners have the right to bring our dogs and we dont care if we are being selfish or if it affect other people!

I'd say it's much more "unpsytrancey" (whatever that mean) to bring your dogs no matter what people think or feel!

If there's so much space at outdoor parties then it's weird how the dogs always end up at the dance floor chasing eachother, fighting with eachother ect.

Don't get me wrong I love dogs and I lived with dogs for quite a few years (26) until I got allergic to them. And I know a lot about dogs behaviour and how they react in crowded situations. They want to be where their owners are! And most of the time it's where people are! So tell me again... where should I and the rest of the people that get allergic reactions go? Home? Haven't we got a right to be at the parties without SUFFERING QUITELY? Or are our money that we paid for the entrance less worth than the dog owners money?

Guys there are many people that are allergic to both cats and dogs.

If there is even ONE person in the whole event that is allergic to dogs then the rest of the people have to respect that and keep their pets at home or keep them next to them and dont allow them to run free among the rest of the people.Dont forget also that there are people that are afraid of dogs or that simply dont like dogs,we also have to respect that you know.

I was a Rottweiller owner for the last 8 years (and will be a new owner again from January and on) and i had experienced many problems with my dog,or in fact peoples reactions towards my dog.

I will describe you just one incident to prove you all wrong about allowing dogs free in outdoor trance events.

Once i was walking with my dog in the centre of my town, usually my dog was free in our walks (something that is not right and also illegal in my country) but this time i had my dog attached next to me with its collar and lish.My dog though it was a big dog like i mentioned before was one of the most calm and peaceful animals i had ever seen, everybody could touch him and play with him and he would never mind about it.So while we were walking a woman in the age of 30 started screaming when she saw my dog from the distance of 15 meters. She screamed so loud that the people next to her got afraid and started running away and my dog felt in danger so he broke its chain (which was really big and stable trust me) and he attacked her,i moved really fast and grabed him from the next and had to injure myself in order to protect the screaming woman. The dog was trained and was tottally peaceful like i said before but he felt that my life (or his life) were in danger so he decided to attack,we are talking about a 60 kilos dog here so you can understand what would happen if the dog attacked the woman,i had to almost break my arm in order to keep him away. What i want to say is that if even the dog is the best dog in the world the peoples reaction might force him to attack or act aggressively.Dogs are not humans and we cannot think like they do so its better to protect the others and the dogs be keeping them away from such gatherings like rave parties.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

thats really sweet of you. . .because you know. . .its important that you get that nicotine in yoour veins. i mean who cares if it completely risks the health of someone else and ruins their time. . .thats what trance is about, selfish stupidity. i dont think the scene could exist without it.           ein chadash tachat hashemesh. there is nothing new under the sun. --kohelet.

For a dog allergy to affect you at an outdoor party it must be pretty severe! I don't think this is really justification for banning them from parties. Once or twice I've seen dogs fight at parties, it's a rare occurrence. The owners dealt with it. One of the dogs belonged to my friend and it bit him on the ass! He's a good party dog though, he's been going to them for years and has never been in another fight, someone bought this horrible little Staffordshire Bull Terrier to the party, and it started to fight with my friend's dog. Anyway, the point is that it wasn't a big deal and it didn't ruin anyone's party...           "One nation under a groove".

I think I got Shrom's point, allow me to translate:

get rid of the heart of matters: stop nitpicking about details;

its the heart that matters more: be open and accepting, its more important than selfish subjective opinion.

Far from ironic, I think its the truth of the issue. Which is that there are many truths, that of the parent, the baby, the dog, the owner, the dancer affected and the scenes overall appearance to others...so many...so Shrom has a point...be accepting of what is, the world is seldom as black and white as right or wrong.

(Which is why we wont walk away from this topic with a general agreement like ban all dogs and babies from all psytrance parties)           Within this timeless gathering,
a shining light does dance,
lost from conscious memory,
but visible in trance!

what i just always wonder about is why these dogs tend to run around like crazy on parties......... are they on the shit we 'dropped' or didn't manage to any more ........
i hereby welcome all the animal rights ppl on the forum to engage in this disproportionate little topic!
happy holidays!!!
