zollog killa! very well worded the situation that is now .
And i agree wit it completely.
i imagine psytrance as one of the most experimentative form of art ever ! just by the number of ppl making it . Let alone the tastes influences and side projects  |

Beacose not everyone got it in them !!!
i'm sure the 80% or more from the psy comunity artists, could NOT write classical music. heven a 2 min part
with or without musical knowlage, music is something very hard to do.
and u need to have it in you to make it sound intresting |

all depends on your desire to learn!
once you invest and focus on thing you love then you can learn it very quickly!
in school i was the "stupid" of my class, my average was almost 40%
today in college i study software engineering
and my average is over 80%
ppl from school don't believe that i did that...coz software
engineering is so fu%$%#$ complex and not everyone survive there.
in same time i learn music, and produce it, and also developing VST Plugins...
so please ppl, stop frustrate others...
i agree that one person with no knowledge in doing X,Y,Z things in life, can't do them without studying the proccess, but it doesn't mean he CAN'T study...YES he CAN then he will achieve his goal.

This topic reminds me of a bumper sticker that I first saw years ago before I got into electronic music:
"Drum machines have no soul."
At the time I agreed. But now after years of into electronic music I realize it's false.
Now I know that the drum machine is just another instrument, and 'playing' it requires its own set of skills to project the soul of the player.
The soul of any musical instrument is breathed into it from the player.

sound is sound regardless of where it comes from...if it tickles your ear drums and gets them excited its good...does it really matter from which tree the apple fell ?

that's the point software expert it's something u can learn.
music u can learn aswell, but it dosent mean u'll be a good musician !!!
u need to have it in you.
music it's something that u allready got inside u, by learning composition,and musicalogic, u just give yourself more tools to express your self
