party organizators in their wanting (sorry for this lexicon, its just right.. no grammatics..) to make a good party (means more money) book some great artists from abroad.. its work good.. ppl come becoze "refeer" or somebody else.. its work nice..
where the paradox will u ask..
so its here - this organizators dont like this music their main crowd portion not like this music too but they still make a booking and bring hot europenian dj but nobody realy enjoy it.. only by a money way..
isnt it the biggest paradox for today ?? nobody want it,nobody need it but the game is ON..
once after once the managment crash the minds.. poor minds..
can somebody confirm this ??           Believe your soul !

I guess you are talking about what happened last night with Oliver (Oryx)... I know exactly what you mean! The organizers book a big name, like Oliver, and that gets people to come to the party. But then, they see that most of the crowd doesn't connect to his music, so they tell him to step down (even though they knew what kind of music he would play...)

It is kind of a paradox. But i'm a sucker for ferign dj's, hehe...

btw, personnaly i LOOOVED olivers sets, and i always appreciate when organizers bring a quality act from abroad!           MiniMAL cabron...

i wasn't at this last party with Oryx but i guess most people didn't appreciate his set...i assume people wanted ptzazot from a foreign dj , Oliver probably wasn't the right person for that...maybe most people would like smt else...like always it's a matter of taste, most people came for a party with a foreign dj not more...not much of a paradox man....usual israelism

I think it's really stupid and sad
Dj can't finish his set, no chance that ppl will get his messege...
So you shoudn't bring Oliver to your party and let PsychoMicro play all night and all day, the ticket will cost less and your crowd enjoy that music anyway)))

Eli, I heard Oliver a year ago also at Udi and Ronen's party and he was great!!! Much much better than this time, and he didn't give a full on set a year ago. He played his music.
So don't take this example and generalise it.           Majority is never right!

in 99% of the parties in Israel the crowed wants full on its a fact.
within those 99 percent there is a 10% precent of people than are open minded. but they are still a minority.
the funny thing is that those 99% will still prefer to go to a foreign dj party even if he doesnt play the music they will love!
so it is a paradox in a way(quite a stupid one).

in fact his set was deep oryx beats and on top of it (and he know what is mix) refeer decree hits.. cant be better..

yossi - ok,almost nobody.. i just tire of dance almost alone on the floor and see 500 ppl look at me like im kinda alien.. at this party i saw that nobody need and nobody want it.. kulam waited then already this amazing back to back (dot.com vs mickey psyho-micro) will come..           Believe your soul !

and raver and others - i dont tlak about specific party but about global position.
beat bizzare - dissapointed, ah ?? don t u remember ?? haldolium too minimal,ah ?? shu ?? mos play club music !! in club but who is count... son kite - dissapointed.. alsmot after every party with deep/progressive/minimal band i hear about 80% dissaponted ppl that just cant already wait till nikita and psychomicro will bomb their mind..
but they still will go to hear vibrasphere (u will see how ppl will say - why its so minimal ??) and org will bring oryx and mahasuka (that both into house)..

Putting a full-on lineup with Bitmonx (or Oliver) in the middle isn't just beside the point - People will either think the progressive act sucked, or people won't really get into the full-on. In order to properly enjoy progressive, you need a progressive lineup - or at least a lineup that's built with a logical order. El Audio, Haldolium, Son Kite, Native Radio... These guys give something special, each in their own way. And guess what - European DJs are leagues ahead of the Israeli ones at that. In order to really enjoy them, all you need to do is make sure their music is in place. If someone doesn't like progressive, they shouldn't listen to this music. If they do, don't force them to go listen to 8 hours of full-on and 2 hours of progressive.

If a lineup is by definition progressive, all of the progressive nuts will come.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

And there are enough people in Israel that love progressive to fill a party like that. Even two           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

right..
talked with some ppl about but.. but everybody think its impossible and no org will take a risk.. a much easier to make full on party and be sure and protect..
and as one know deals man said me - no matter what, israelis want full on in the morning..
and i think and see - alsmot no ppl who can just flow at the morning, with no full on, just dance and enjoy not a power but a beauty..
