I don't see why people must have prog at night...I would much rather have some Evil twisted minimal music at night (like: Deviant Species, Paps, Charasmatix)
As for the morning: texas fag'\pelinpala is definatley a good choice...
For me, the Ideal line-up would be:
24:00-02:00 : Prog warm-up (Ryan Halifax, Alegria, Shaman)
02:00-04:00 : Evil Twisted Minimal (Deviant Species)
04:00-06 : More Wicked Minimal (Paps, charasmatix)
06:00-08:00 : Crazy Finnish Morning (Texas/Pelinpala)
08:00-till ya drop : Israeli Full-On (Psycho-Micro, Nikita, Dot.Com... whatever)
Don't get me wrong. I love Prog, but on the dancefloor, most people people need something more energetic...

The fact that organizers bring artists that neither them nor their crowd like is a true statement. Not a paradox. It doesn't contradict itself.
I think the problem is that the organizers are no longer ppl who want to make their crowd happy, but ppl who want to make as much money as possible.
That's why we get artists that are being asked to leave the stage and make room for a more mediocre artists. That's why we get fake line ups that promise us GMS + Hux Flux + The Delta + X-Dream at the same party.

5meo geo - man, u and some more ppl love to talk about texas faggot but they are realy unique in any standarts. heard them live and as u can imagine didnt liked it but i agree that its super experemental band. go texas,go..
but they are is a genre itslef.. we talked about another things.

it's not a paradox .... imho , it's an excuse for the organaizers to take x shkalim hadashim for a party ... i don't say it's bad but in general , it sounds logicly to pay 80(+) s"h for a party with artist from abroad ... so why won't they bring someone that supplies bombs in your head , someone like Cristoff or Talamaska ? these guys are pretty often here but somehow in parties that we talk about - they never show up ...
So with full on top djs we have a problem , not to count israeli djs which are very good and are underestimating only in their only country but in fact - we just saw them too much , we're tired of them and want new acts (it's not such a paradox) ... so we have a cream of progressive instead ... that's the situation , and progressive lovers are the biggest winners here ... so not everyone is happy around u ? they don't dance ? it's their problem banalic as it is , why do u make it your problem ? putting dj down is not good at all but it's not happening every day ... i was only once at Udi&Ronen party ( great one btw ) and it's not a miracle that it happened there , with full on crowd like their's they should think twice before bringing Reefer Decree , so it's organaizers f*ck and that's it ... but don't generalize it ...
we have great acts coming here , this friday for example , i was successfully released from miluim so c u all

I think you've answered your own question.
It's not paradox, just people's tastes.
P.S. And another thing. I am really missing those small (<300), friends parties, without big names, but only friends are playing. Cause when I go to party, I want to hear all the good music, regardles of the "kind".

Yeap. I agree with u Alex, and also with 5Meo-Geo. Israelis have a different mentality. They are 5 times angrier and more nervous than europeans. If our political situation was similar to the Scando people for example, I'm sure our taste would have been affected too.
