Ishblishem, what U are explaining works for me too with RoOts Reggae
Listening to the "Rivers of Babylon" by the Melodians (1967 !!) makes me fly away as much as a PsyTrance track in the middle of the night on a DancefloOr

thats the same feeling i got after mixing trance in my home......i feel great after that when i come out side......and when im not listenig to trance long time i got this strang feeling that somthing missing!!!

to all which write about no boundaries/every music is psychedelic...
u really think that slow (...very slow, 40 bpm ) music is still psychedelic ?
why shamanic cultures play fast and not slow ?!? -think about...they got many years to develop...
i mean there is a difference between "like something/make good mood" and "psychedelic"...

music has always been with mankind, from the ancient rituals to our modern music we listen to everyday

how different is this from a psychedelic trance party? usually this parties are open air, prepared with several days of anticipation, the decoration is suprisingly similar to old cultures, a shaman (Dj or band) leads you, and you have lots of people from differente cultures dancing together as we used to 10.000 years ago.
psychedelic trance combines both east and west of the world, you have eastern melodies and spirit combined with high-end techonology. this kind of music and the way that its events are carried on constitute a new symbol, our new religion if you want to put it like that.
there is nothing more spiritual than psychedelic trance, it kills all kinds of divisions, your forget about your everyday worries, money, work, etc. you are once again just another human being dancing and connecting with all humanity and nature, its perfect, it is what we lost when nietszche killed god and postmodernism killed all the other ideas.
we were able to build up a new symbol, a new way to escape the neurotic western world.
