is trance music spiritual?

well i never take any drug in my life and i was danceing 10-12 our even widout one drink
(now i drink alot hehehehhehe)
but any way i think not all the music today have spertual in it but for sure have few theat can get u in to a trance (trance=the spirt came out of your boddey hehehe)
any way its depenze also in the peson have some ppl theat need drug for theat and some no
i think like salvador dalli say
"i dont need drug im the drug "

of course trance music is spiritual!!!
not only trance thou... almost any electronic music...
but that's just for me... for my friend izak tchaikovsky's Symphony No.6 is as spiritual as Edgar Froese's "Drunken Mozart In The Desert" is to me...
and for him electronic music is just cool effects... while for me classical music is amazing music, but it haden't induced spiritual experience for me yet...
i was at so many (non-physical) places with electronic music... with and without drugs...
I remember several experineces I had with music... like with Asura's "Trinity"... and Froese's "Drunken Mozart...", and Muses Rapt's "Spiritual Healing"...
but it's something that is hard to explain in words... maybe i still haven't found the words to express it... or maybe they just don't exist in english, but i'll try anyway to describe parts of experinces...
like in this track "Drunken Mozart...", i'm sure many of you knows it... and for those who don't, it's a track by Edgar Froese, the guy from Tangerine Dream... and he has a very unique still imo...
so anyways there is a certain rhytem that carries the entire track... and when i was at the spiritual mind-state, i was tottaly in tune with this rhytem... and then there is a part when it's suddenly stops... and a sound of soft strings ensamble appears... and at this point I felt something so strong... you know the feeling when your ears get shut suddenly when you go to high place or something?
and then when they are open again you can hear so much better?
well it was something like that, except my ears weren't shut... and they opened into a new dimension of sound... maybe it's not the best explantion... so i'll try to describe it in another way... I felt like i was floating ON the sound... i felt i was above the clouds... but not a feeling that resembles that feeling... i had the EXACT FEELING of being above clouds... it was so amazing... and it was so much special... and i feel that this describtion doesn't even come close to the real feeling, who was very very amazing...!
and after that something more amazing happend... when a lead synth came in... and i felt that every note that was pressed, every little sound that the synth made strike me deep in the core of my soul... and it was so strong that tears came into my eyes... it was so pure and true!!! 
I also had a spiritual experience with Spritual Healing (the Domi & Jorg mix)...
i closed my eyes and began entering that special mind-state in the first minute... when there is this soft sound... on about 1:30, when the drum sound came in, and came louder, i felt like an engine was turned on... and it got louder and louder and higher and higher when it finally shot me to the sky when the main theme came in!
it was so incredible... so amazing experience!
that special melody pentrate me in every aspect it can... you all know what i'm talking about... that magical melody
There is a way that I love to describe the spiritualy of trance... I don't remember if I read it in this forum, or thought about it myslef.. lol
In psytrance music... there is this steady beat... and it holds your body... and then there are those magical melodies and sounds... which enter your mind and taking it far away... the beat holds the body so the sounds can free your soul... and that's what i like best in trance... that earth & air element... when earth is the kick and the air is the melodies...
maybe other people sees it diffrent but that's my point of view

hmm ...i don`t know how hip hop or rep can be spiritual ..but if you say so .......actually the only one music genre i can`t understand is rep ..
for me, trance music is much more spiritual and superior than all other ...

It's just that Trance can be as spiritual as U want.... it will NEVER be "superior" to anything..
On the contrary Trance dips its inspiration from other genres..

Personally, I think the spirituality of Trance music has to do with the psychedelic nature of the music. It really takes you somewhere else – somewhere “different”, that doesn’t belong to the daily normal experience –a “trance” higher plane. When it is deep, powerful, hypnotizing – it can literarily bring you to your knees, I mean, you feel that it is SO POWERFUL that you feel so empty inside, as if burned, torn apart, – yet so full, full with purity and love to this overwhelming magic which cannot be explained in words.
I am sure some people here know what I mean (at least some, from what I’ve read so far. I liked what Itai wrote). This is why I say trance music is spiritual. I don’t think that other genres of music have that same kind of power. It is the kind of experience that when really burns you – you are transformed – you become somehow different, you carry some of that magic with you, it becomes part of what you are.

I wouldn't have too many words for this topic... trance can certainly be spiritual; the whole experience depends on the listener. For me, I consider certain pieces of trance music to be sacred... mere words cannot properly describe the effect. |

i didn`t want trance to influence on me in such a spiritual way ..that is just how i feel about that music ....and my personal opinion trance is superior to all other music ....that is how i feel ..
trance has changed one part of me definatly ....i`ve discovered some new dimensions .../frequencies ......doors .....worlds ........people ......i`ve found some losted parts of myself ...bla bla .....it`s a long trippy story ..
