Ok, a little follow up on this one.
Psyshop actually settled up with us in the end. It took a long time, alot of emails, faxes and phone calls, but they did pay us in full back at the end of March.
I'm sorry I didnt post this up sooner, but life has been totally hectic, (if any of you have had your home robbed before you'll know what I'm talking about).
Also... about CDs going missing in the post. WELL.... with the Tsunami CDs, obviously we sold HEAPS more of those thru our own website than we normally sell of anything else (and thanks by the way to everyone who did buy a CD direct from us). So many in fact that it became a full-time job just organising all those sales. Anyway, the point is, that we had a few go missing in the post. Not a massive amount, but up to now we've never had anything go missing before. So, I guess when the volume of stuff being sent in the post goes up, some things do go missing.
Sometimes we managed to chase it up and it turned out they were sitting in customs. this happened in Australia and Denmark. Other times they just 'woop!' dissapeared into another dimension. DJ Postman dipping his hand in the sack probably.
So.. the moral of the story is, keep an open mind. Psyshop handle a huge amount of transactions, so I guess its inevitable that they will have a bigger % of CDs going missing. How they handle their customer service is another matter of course, and also maybe they need to start using a traceable postal service. Here in the UK it is actually a legal requirement to use a traceable postal system when dealing with Paypal (we learnt that the hard way).
