have you ever lost your money on a psy-trance music shop?

Psyshop screwed me over once a couple years ago. Here's the story:
My sister asked me what I wanted for Christmas a few years ago, so I pointed out some cds I would like. I sat with her as she ordered. Weeks go by and I have yet to recieve my CD's in the mail. The money is out of my sisters bank account... but no sign of anything in return. We write psyshop tell them the story, and they say. "That's too bad.".
Wankers... Saiko Sounds all the way.

I would disagree with people who prefer saikosounds. I have been dealing with them recently and my orders are taking 8 - 10 days. While I don't mind this too much. Psyshop is my preferred option with only a 5 - 7 day wait, at the maximum.
I think trance-shop has the worst record for myself, taking 15 days to arrive. Patience was lost!

Sorry to hear about what happened with Psyshop.
Fortunately, I've had good experiences with Psyshop,Saiko Sounds,Trance Shop and Chaos Unlimited.
I got exactly what I ordered on time, just as it should be. |

Hey friends
i like to tell you a story from the other side
as you know we have also a records store on our side.
in the beginning i belive in a few costumer and sent the cd on invoice out.
the money i didnt became since now from the people.
but also we had problems to sent cds in the world and special in switzerland a lot of packet was -lost in the post-looks like that the post in that country loves our music. but for a good shop is that not a problem about the costumer is king and when he did not received the packet the shop has to sent it again.-for free-thats the way how we do this and i think the most of shops do it also.
so about that a few shops can not work with UPS-they are to smal for this-they have to juse DHL/Post
and here the times what the post need for a parcel from germany-
inside europe-7-10 days
russia-14-21 days
israel 14-21 days
brazil-21-28 days
south afrika-21-28 days
america a very long time about this moment they contral every packet very hard.
so its up to 2 month

Hello there-good topic
I also have a problems with psyshop.
I used to order from them for a years but now it really sucks.
1story-orderd cds-2 weex nothink-mailing them-nothink-i was mostly suppose to start the topic of that here-then reply-we start a research-3 weex nothink..well at all i was without money and cds for cca 2 months and that crap! After they find out that its a problem on their site in one week they sent my money back.
Before a month i said to myself once again to try psyshop-cheapest/nearest to me and once again i dont have nothink (money and cds) for more then a month and i have to wait once again. And i find out that they wont shipped the cds as a registered letter!
So there is no chance to find out where the cds stucked or whats happend. I cant imagine how they can send the goods unregistered?
Maybe someone can explain me.
I want my originals for playing and i am tired of waiting for them 2-3 month from the order and at the end not recieve them but get the money back. And to have the stuff so long after the release is being quite offtopic that time.
So for me psyshop no more. The cheapest doesnt mean the best. Old but sad truth:(
Anyway if anyone has an phone number on them in would love to give them a call and explain my thoughts. Couse they reply on the mails once a week, they dont want to give me they number probably (i asked for in mails) and on their web is only fax number.
and afterall fax sucks:))

Psyshop doesn't seem to care about us customers at all, Surrender
Any decent enterprise should.
One could even make a comparison between PeeShop and those horrible party organizers that don't give a damn to the public and/or the psychedelic culture and are only there to spoil the beauty of the music.
As -Abatwa- said, if they even once had it, it's long gone by now

Maybe it takes longer for a c.d to arrive to the client when you order from Saikosounds, but at least yuo know that if there's a problem, they will take care of it and not just reply u with stupid responses.
I prefer to wait 2-3 days more to get my c.d than pay again for a new c.d
Saikosounds have the best service and they also have a lot of respect for music. Only in Saikosounds I can find such a variety in all trance styles (and not only the commercial c.ds).

if www.chaosunlimited.co.uk had a better website i would use these guys. very friendly and very helpful. however their website is just so god damn annoying and payment isnt just a case of typing in credit card number on their website.
psyshop for me all the way. cd's arrived on the 3rd day after ordering and never had any problems. Trance-shop is good too, they got lots of clearance cd's amd you get a parcel full of flyers an stickers which is always a good thing. only problem is it takes a while to reach you. think my order took 2 weeks :S |

am relly really glad i read this post...
i was surfing through psyshop a few minutes back and really liked a couple of cds and was thinkin of placing an order in a day or 2 but now..i kinda dont feel safe to sit and wait for them and in the end it wld be horrible if i end up not having them...
if there were a few cases i wldve understood that it is the postal agencies fault etc..but if soo many cases occur and also hearing their replies to customers...NO THANK YOU!...
am a marketing student and as every marketing student would figure..psyshop forgot the most essential source of their marketing---->word of mouth of its customers....
no psy shop for me...
