well i never used Largo before cause I have Blofeld. Though, I don't use much VSTi recently. Omnisphere is unique, I can't skip it. Pads, atmos, interesting and weird timbres, lots of stuff to dig into... Nothing can beat it. Surge is also one of my favs these days - especially for chord stabs and background things. It also features wavetables and good OSC sections with deep modulation possibilities. I love Discovery for ease of tweaking, and I can do various simple things there in 30 seconds. That's pretty much it. I am feeling fine with these 4

How about analog gear like Tetra or Moog SP? Should't they be great for bass? I mean the oscilators are way fatter and the filter sounds great on these machines.. |

Someday I intend to replace the software synths in my live with (ideally) analog hardware, starting with a Kick Lancet and either a Mopho or an SH-101, Im still indecisive, Id prefer the Roland, but the DSI has a friendlier footprint, and both can be had for around the same price... But I bet the Roland would impress women whereas the DSI might not even be noticed
