Well why don't you use that one for bass if you think it is fat?           soundcloud.com/supergroover

I have to admit I like Vb-1 as well.
I like how snappy it sounds, but I always have trouble eq-ing it to fit nicely with the kick without cutting all of its 'snap' out.

Lol, vb1 was the worst bass-synth I could think of. Please stop using it right away, thanks!

Besides, if you combine my post and Disco Hooligans you have all you need

There, now it's fool proof...

By the way, the SH-101 Trillian patches sound nothing like the real SH-101, the filter makes such a massive difference in the sound.

Peace out.

Still, they do sound awesome alright ;-) I would very much like to have the real machine, however Trilian does the trick for me!           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

i really don t like the notes are not all the same in trillian, for example F can work great and G sound like total crap..there is a issu with their samples, i don t know but something is wrong .
if they could do a sampler with these filters and envelops that would be awesome

That's true about some notes not sounding the same on Trillian but that only happens on very few patches.

Peace out.

Ive gotten quite adequate sound from VB1, more midrange than i usually prefer but not bad.

But, I usually go for sampled-303-emulations myself

I managed to make a nearly identical duplicate of a real 303 sample that Ive used and loved for years, using Venom VB-303 beta freeware, even better than what I ended up with using ABL2.

So to me the greatest synth; Tranzizztorrrbazzzzz TreeOHTree, for life

bottom is the emulation, top is my favorite 303 sample, that sadly, is only 16bit, and has some difficulty tuning.          .
