I've placed an order for a custom made x0xb0x by non other than Andy Pledger. Anodized silver with blue LEDs.
The greatest synth for bass shall be mine

just about to get mine modded.
devilfish distotion
fm mod (borg mod)
resonance power supply mod (just like the origionaltb303)
and the DIN SYNC metal TB303 case

after many tracks stuck in SURGE... i started to usin another one for basses...
CYPHER from DCAM...
realy realy powerful synth ffor a bassline...strong fundamental and clean harmonics...
try it if u can
but inspired by mudpeople i decided to have more basses options in my template so i kept the surge and also added a 303 emulator...

are you doing it your self or do you know someone who makes it? I am thinking about getting a second x0xb0x next year to have another Devilfish/Borg as well.

will post a video blog of thw work he does on your gear
started making his own modules..including a 303 osc and soon to come a 303 filter
dont know if hes the cheapest but hes got good standards

i should have been a bit clearer bout my mods
the devilfish and borg mods are both huge mods to do and take a bit of time
when you add these full mod kits up you would probably be cheaper buying an already modded 303
im only having the devilfish dist and only the fm mod from the borg mods and the resonance power supply <hack> which cuts into the cv out rendering it useless pretty much

for psytrance esm equed still do the job perfectly ,deep low end... try in D# da esm power sound classic to me dunno why.. it just the good bassline sound caractere for me |

ok sorry didnt read the thread ,i would pick esm over nords and virus for phat full on bassline , if i had a sh 101 or a minimoog i would probaly stop using it and sample them runing into some outboards, no compromise bassline, analog source, analog processing but might sound just 10% better than plugins well processed lol |
