because hippies do that. And what do hippies do besides that? They smoke pot and do nothing and probably pollute as much as a Chinese smelter.
And our community is not a bunch of old school hippies, i can tell you that. I know that by some standards we are supposed to be concerned with the environment, care about nature and do things in every day life which benefit us humans, animals, aliens and other freaks as a whole.
I would like to know if listening to psytrance and it being a significant part of your life, has made you think about living life as normally as possible with doing minimal damage to mother earth. So what do you do?

hot box my room so the smoke doesnt go out. call a few friends to come and soak it all up. sometimes i speak to a tree , ask it whats up without hugging it.
kidding.
i try not to pollute too much. im trying to go green. i wanna get my car converted to cng (gives a better average). i make it a point to switch of all the lights in the house before i leave.
if every person does his bit it could amount to a lot.

1. I dont use a car. I use bikes or other 2 wheelers. They dont pollute the environment as much as cars do.
2. Use eco-friendly lighting and solar powered cookers whenever I can.
3. Have a small garden of my own, where I plant atleast 2 saplings every month.
4. Am an active member at Care2.com

i hate it when in the supermarket are loading me with 20 or more plastic bags for a few stuffs... when i ask to use less they watch me weird
i hate it when the dustbins of my collegues are full of paper which could have been use as a scrap one for temp notes and then send it for recycling...
i hate when i see ppl throwing rubbish from the car windows and not simply use a bag to collect ...
basics from my humble daily routine to share here. dunno how the the music can make you more environmental wise but definitely all comes from the family in a first place.

In a higher state of consciousness it is certain that you realise that we are connected with our natural enviroment.
More specific we are one.
In that case you realise that poluting the enviroment is like hurting yourself.
Listening to psy trance helps to reach a higher state of consciousness so it surely helps to realise the truth about the valuableness of our natural enviroment and it's pivotal value to our existence!

I use as less plastic as i can
I refill my water bottles rather then buying new ones everyday for my car & wen i m travelling
I use as less Electricity as i can
& I do nature photography which makes ppl. appreciate nature & take care of it

i use everything thats created for use...i dont see any harm or danger in that..when i die the earth dies for me...climate or no climate...there are other planets and millions of galaxies to travel to

Sure there are other places you can travel to(after your death) but if the earth dies for you; you will probably go to a place much like hell...

Psytrance Freaks - a varied group of people, some are really into it ,
some just think about it, and other dont care at all...
I think we need all, but focus on love and creative happiness is
something we share with the old style hippies ..
I want more of this (recycling, solar power etc etc) into parties and
festivals, to completely make the trip
I care and try to do my part of recycling and want more of it !

I don't use paper towels to wipe my hands at bathrooms.
I don't take plastic bags when i buy groceries.
I turn off lights if not needed.
I refill my water bottles.
I use a bicycle as much as I can, although this country(USA) has been designed so that nothing is at a reasonable distance from where you are.
I I I ...We We we.
This is what i envision. As many people as possible doing these little things, it would sure help a lot. We have NO idea how much are restaurants, diners and fast food places polluting with their plastic containers, garbage bags, cardboard boxes, plastic cups. It's just horrible. If all those people who frequent high polluting places do something to take away their damage we would be better off.

there are places we can travel in space  the only problem is that people use only like 10%(or was it a little bit more) from our minds and even that is used on petty shit. The sky is the limit, really, but something epic needs to happen so that people wake up.
