I have been looking for somewhere to play for the last year or so. The biggest problem is that I live in Boston, and I play full-on. These Bostoians are really into their progressive ;(

I'm looking at helping a friend throw a big party at an outdoor venue next summer, so it's good to know that there are lots of people interested in DJ sharing...

My mixes are available at djnutz.blacklight.net

Hey now, not *everyone* in Boston plays progressive...besides, this just means we will have to cross-poly-nate to bring more full-on/psychedelic/dark psy here....

I will say, last time I heard this guy play in Boston, the dancefloor went.....nutz!

Awww... How sweet...

Yeah it's not everyone who plays prog... but you see... you and I don't count because we don't play here anymore... I would love to see a bunch of the old SF Djs come play a Boston party. It'd be like old times...

soundz like a cool concept..the midwest is in!!! We are the chicago based CHILLUMINATI..
The Chilluminati is really a metagroup, a collective of SIX promotional, vj and dj/production artists and consciousness community groups: Psymbolic, TOUCH Samadhi, Divine Balance, Tranceplant Records, Audiognomes, and Vision Collective.

Although we just formed over a year ago, we have thrown some Amazing events that have knocked the sox off of most folks in this area and the surrounding regions. Some of the events: METATRONIC series 1 and 2, Geologic(the infamous cave party), Dreamfields and Karmaclysm. In this year of 2006 we have some stellar parties scheduled. Please check on our website for more information regarding upcoming events. We would love to see how this tree grows and meshes seamlessly... with other trees in this forsest of US PSY..

You can find us at
http://www.chilluminati.org

we look forward to seeing you there!! IF you have any questions about upcoming events or interest in artist sharing you can email me directly : shai@chilluminati.org

Also if there are any artists out there that are interested or looking for a US PSY Label to sign with, please send us your demos and delights to DIVINE BALANCE RECORDS. You can email: shai@divinebalance.com

Looking forward to listenin to some sonic deliciousness!!!

Good to see cooperative dialogue going on here and I enjoy the introductions.

I myself hope to be activated to the SF rotation and beyond this year. I am thinking of ways to apply myself based on the needs of the local scene. I am working with a multimedia designer to develop an FTP for posting some of the photos and MP4 clips taken at parties.

Also in the process of cloning my desktop studio to mobile platform for collaboration with local area producers. There is some great talent here and I aim to become a part of it.           ELECTRON EYES / MARK-EVAN (NOR. CAL)

My most recent mix for your review. This set was built for the morning but as all of LA knows I can fit in any time slot.

There is also some good info about the US scene on a similar forum that is aimed at the same goal. It’s called the Psychedelic Gig Exchange. You may already be a member of this tribe.

http://tribes.tribe.net/psygigexchange/thread/c892e1a6-b988-432e-80eb-3d7af88f663d

This tribe has created some interchanging gigs already and is proof that some promoters are willing to take the leap. The leap is paying for talent that may or may not pull a crowd. So that should be discussed here as well. An established dj is great for local parties but can they have the same affect in say a place where nobody knows who they are. Are the promoters on this discussion willing to take that leap? We all know that this scene is not a dj scene in the way that the drum and bass or house scenes are. We all know that in order to travel in this scene you have to write your own tracks and get noticed that way.

I'm waiting for promoters to prove me wrong.

And really guys if you have to pay for your own flight then your not really doing it the right way are you. And I speak for myself when I say that Trance doesn’t feed me and pay my rent but really whos got over 500 bucks or more in most cases, for a flight to throw around. In my opinion a promoter who likes you is going to take the risk on the draw he or she pulls AND pay for the talent on top of that risk just to bring new talent to their crowd. Maybe if this was 6 years ago I would pay but if your wet behind the ears, are you really the best choice for a promoter. I hate to say it but lets be real nothing in this world is free. DON’T SHOOT ME GUYS I just want us all to be honest. So what say you all? Are you willing to take the chance?

"Hi my name is Merry and I'm an alcoholic."

Sorry I had to, though I couldn't be an alcoholic if I tried.

Other than causing unecessary drama on public forums, I was one of the first female psytrance DJ's to regularly spin out around the New York area. While many psychedelic DJ's these days are gravitating towards the dark and abrasive, I continue to relate with more traditional psytrance and less aggressive, yet still full-powered intensely complex atmospheric textures of pure bliss. You know what I mean right? The type of introspective morning trance that makes you conscious of the beauty in the universe. That's what its all about for me.

What do you get when you book me to play at your party? NO EGO and beautiful music. I can also make a mean cup of chai. Drama ratio 95% with the occassional outburst.

I have been living in Las Vegas about a year and am happy to report that there is a thriving monthly psytrance event here called D.N.A.

There are incredible people involved in this party and I am eager to commit my 100% support to LV's growing scene as I have learned there is great potential here, which most people are not aware of yet.

I wanted to respond to this thread not only to endorse myself as a candidate but also to voice support of this Cross-poly-Nation Dj Exchange Program Spook philosophized. In fact that's what the current mission is here in Vegas, to promote artists from all over the map. Its a good thing.

I'm working on a mix, which includes tracks on which I have done multi-track-edits. Not quite there with he production yet, so this is the next best thing. It will be available soon. Thanks to the mega talented DJ Shem of LV for all the inspiration, and many thanks for taking the time to read!

Hi all, I'm with Mayavada Productions in Washington, DC. Mayavada is being thrown by myself (Brian H), RypTide and Azziz. We threw our first party a few months ago and are currently planning our next one coming up this February. We are definitely looking for suitable headliners we can exchange gigs with. Please e-mail me at info@djbrianh.net for details.

Demos are available at www.djbriah.net and www.ryptide.com

Gretings, the Wichdokta here to say "HA" to all. I'm the guy who flew everyone out for the New Years Eve gig called " POW WOW WEST COAST".The exchange is an idea I came up with after playing at the "POW WOW " in N. Carolina. Iknow alot of DJ's can't afford to fly themselves to many shows(job, family, ect.)
so I decided to fly people out to Cali to kick start this idea.I'm currently working on a lineup for a 3 day campout in June in Cali. I have 4 DJ's I'm already flying out for it and am waiting on more demo's from you all to pick the last 2. We will be throwing a massive amount of shin digs this year, so if you don't make the campout lineup we will be picking people for future events. You can send demos to PO BOX 357 Laytonville ,Ca. 95454. As far as myself, Taukwan said it all, " I LOVE YOU GUY ".I am willing to fly myself anywhere to play at a gathering to meet new family. If you can't afford to pay me back that's O.K., I own a sound company and am doing well for myself. That's how I can afford to fly people out. So, send thoughs demos to me and let's get it on.As far as the demos I can download, I'll do so as quick as I can. BOM

Hey all,
I'm Greg a.k.a Mubali...
I have a few releases on a few different labels like Trishula, Mistress of Evil, Acidance, Insomnia, Manic Dragon....

I tend to specialize in aggressive nighttime stuff. The stuff I tend to do is a bit on the techier side, but pretty maniacal at the same time. I live in Berkeley now (thanks Xyla) and am a firm believer in the scene here in this country. I've thoroughly enjoyed the energy and the vibe in the places I've played in the states so far and am really glad to see more scenes emerging across the country. I'm pretty down for going anywhere to play, so feel free to email me anytime mubali@hotmail.com

Let's keep this thread growing and unite the states.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
