oh dick your name says it all. Takes one to know eh.....

That Dark Soho show sucked balls. It was one of the worst organized shows i had the pleasure of going to in SF. Dutch did the right thing by ending it

oh and BTW Dark Soho was playing of a dat all night. The only thing plugged in was Boxers guitar
anyways enough of this. This thread has already gotten some cross scene bookings, and dj are talking them selves up. Its called self promotion, not eog. You have to sell what you got or can do ....

back to the real stuff of this thread
Logical Light Music - SF
Straylight Productions -SF
Sound/Mind - Denver
Xcience - Midwest

I think this topic is not for people to post there opinions about a certain party or artists they don't like. So Mr.Dick take ur opinions somewhere else.

I thought we were on a very diffirent wave length here.

Hi everyone
I am Francisco AKA Arjuna. I just want to mix in the any place where ppl are open minded and with energy to dance. I love trance as I feel it is a healing process for the spirit. I love its culture, the music, it intentions, its philosophy. I am quite introvertive. I am not really asking for money, but a venue to express what I have inside I feel true to the spirit of trance and that is from my own perspective, which I feel can add something to these beautiful gatherings. Let me know BOM BOM BOM BOM

So its been a little while since i seen action on this thread in order to have Cross-poly-nation you NEED to get in touch with promoters. (demos & mix cds help)if your serious you can email me or find me on tribe it is time to share eachother and spread our energy through this continent .and dancers to dont stay put this year go to a event in as many different places as you can!And again promoters I challenge you to book at least 1 N. american dj or artist to the line up for you event.

Nick Synergy of Overmind Works here. I was hoping to put this off until our site has finished its overhaul, but I just can't wait anymore. I have been interested in bringing more integration to the scene in the US for a long time, so a thread like this is wonderful to see!

Overmind Works has long been Arizona's primary psytrance outlet, and we're still going strong. We're always interested in DJs and artists from North America and will be booking more in the future.

We can be found online at:

My latest demo can be found here:

Thanks and happy pollenation!

Nick, I'd love to come out and check out one of your events in Arizona - Northern AZ isn't that far of a drive from Denver, afaik. Keep us posted on what's going on!

cheers!           ..it's just another party..

Ok so here's another rainless weekend rolling by with no outdoor party. but somehow we lived through it, filling the days and nights with music.
Yesterday I hung out in Venice listening to Onnomon - really appreciating how perfect it fit with the air, the hazy sunshine and the smell of hippies and sunscreen. Which led me to thinking about my ultimate cross polynation party. hell, festival even.
I know I'd have Dean play his old stuff in the heat of mid day. And I may have him play at night as well, by the sounds of his latest tracks. So hmmm, who else would I have play. Thinking out loud and in no particular order, here's what I was thinking. For sure Kri. His "spiritual awakening" mix opened doors for some of my non psy friends and I feel his touch would go well deep in the night, after some of the initial energy has dissipated and you're left in that state where portals open up. He's the one for long, deep journeys. Hmm, who else pops into my head as a necessary ingredient.... ah Kiva. Gotta have Kiva and I'm sorry man but I love you opening a party and in the day time. So I'd let you choose which. I'd have Paradigm early in the night, playing a jumpy set to get the kids all dance happy. Follow him with Konflux, playing as much of his own music as he has, to take things to a deeper level. Spyros .... no not Spyros yet, someone else before him. I want to hear Spyros rip heads off so that'll be for later.
One thing's for sure, I'd have some of the MoE crew at the right time. Probably Xylamanda, thrashing out the hardest, fastest shit they have. Gotta have some good come-down music after that... hmmm, who should it be...

Well, I could go on thinking out loud like this, but you know it really does make me crave hearing some of you guys from the other states. I know the vibe is different out there and what you'd bring out here to LA would be something new and really refreshing.
Like hearing folk music from other parts of the country. like from the Ozarks. you just don't hear that stuff live out here.

oh, as far as location. well naturally I pictured the Ranch cos that's what I'm most familiar with, but it sure would be nice to have it somewhere else. I was thinking Arizona (and I'd have Hahn the Barbarian play a minimal tech set for damn sure!)

Just to add an addendum to that post, I would have all artists take precedent in the lineup over DJs. DJs would be only to fill the gaps in flow not covered by any artists.

Actually, I in a week we could fit 56 3 hour sets in one stage. If we had three stages we could fit 168 artists/DJs. I think also is that most of us in general only know a few DJs artists and many fall in the crevaces of our trance cognition.

For me personally, I would like a Trancening Man with US, Canadian and Mexican Talent. I think the most difficult would be to find a land for this, but then every one contributes to the event. Sound guys can bring their systems, DJs, artists and deco artists their talent, philosophers, Yogis, chemists their knowledge... Everyone brings their own grain of sand to build the trance mountain. Everyone @ the same level, with the same posibilities, and driven there for the trance dance experience.

Personally this is a Utopia. And BTW after bringing all I have to the experience, I would pay my part for the land + cleanup if necessary.

I think the sense of work, responsibity and sense of accomplishment would give everyone something to celebrate.

Oh and most important, avoid marketing, only word of mouth.

Sounds great, we would need a private ranch with atleast 300 acres. As far as contributions,I have a soundsystem and the PHOENIX FAMILY/GEOMAGNETIC REC. behind me as an army of the light to help direct the way.
We have TAKUAN and JOSIE to do alters, TAO and FULL CIRCLE to decorate, and loads of imagination to share. I'll look for a spot here in Cali, you all look for spots were you are, capish. LET'S GET IT ON.
