Touch OSC is just fine for this
And it gives you the possibility to design your own workspace.

Dunno why it wouldn't be. I switched to Traktor S4 from cdj's earlier this year. I feel like I've been freed from such a limited platform to something I can really experiment and do unique things with. I'm only just getting my head around the many aspects of this. It's also allowed me to enjoy DJ'ing othe styles like drum n bass, rap/hip hop & the IDM styles again which were hard to mix using cdj's. It can definitely be improved but for now the system is really great for mixing 4x4 styles (I rarely use the sync as well, no necessary but the sampling, looping & FX are great!)           Cuntus Maximus.

yes it's getting like producing real time like, but someone needs to practice a lot in order to not destroy the crowds ears...for sure much more fun at home though!!

I am currently transferring my dj platform from cds to Ableton. Has been somewhat labour-intensive, especially after upgrading my laptop and reviewing the way I manage my music library.

But I am impressed with the possibilities. Hopefully I will have adequate time and motivation to explore them and exploit them.

I dj chill btw.           ____________________________________
