hahaha... Cardinals you little marijuana thief

this topic dont bother me, what bothers me is when people say that art made by a drug influenced person is not genuine... thats just bullshit, and most of the times these peoples favorite artists are drug users...

Psychedelics really do enhance one's creativity, in a very astonishing way. But they also enhance one's appreciation of sounds so you might find that the sound of a single note being repeated is the greatest thing (maybe it is...). But if you keep this second factor in mind when composing under the influence, I'm sure they can be of a great help and can act like steroids for creativity. There has been studies done a (long) while back showing how psychedelic substances seemed to improve engineer test subject's abilities to creatively solve problems.

I've recorded myself improvising on electric guitar on mushrooms and listening to it sober, I was very amazed by how cleanly I played and by the melodies I had come up with.

A good idea would be to do a big jam session while high and record everything, then when sober sort and arrange the material into songs.           Row row row your boats gently down the stream; merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream.

personally i have to be fairly sober all of the little knobs and lights become a silly little confusing game to me at a certain point. Its funny but very counter productive. I have a track I made called "The cake" I ate a large piece of this homemade pound cake When I made the track it was the most psychedelic amazing unique thing id heard but when I sobered up and listened to it days later I realized it wasnt good at all and needed alot of work so much that I just scrapped it. Its the same with performing you have to be on point and when you start playing with knobs and sliders instead of knowing what you are doing with them thats when you screw up.

i love when that happens

it is hard to be lay down anything more than a few leads or pads or drum loops... i usually just make patches or jam when stoned like Nobita said then go back when sober have a coffee and sort it out....
