Effloresence has some great tracks, it's a good album, other than that Androcell has never really been my cup of tea.

What do you want to express in that topic? Too much lockin of threads? I agree. No need for locking, if no rules got hurt.

all these issues boil down to the fact that releases get spread nowdays on forum sites (often .ru) within a day of release and in lossless format..theres no way a label can carry on with this and stay in the game. look what bluetech said on his free release call of the wild...he doesnt want to play this game anymore..and then somnia label stopped...maybe what labels must do is not release cd at all...only digital downloads and watermark the audio files including the credit card details of the buyer... or just play live and not bother with releases..or make it free and donation...

You're right about the spread of files on forum sites p2p etc - the people who use them are distributing music very effectively !

Still, I don't agree that labels or artists can't make money from selling cd's and digital. We just had our best month of digital sales ever. People still buy cd's, though it has declined.

Watermarking audio is pointless for purchases -though it might make sense for limited advance promos.

The old model of sending out promos and using them to spread buzz and love for a release pre release date just makes no sense anymore. Leakage has too much impact and is probably not worth the benefit. Pre release leakers are mostly people or friends of people on promo lists.

Any few promos we do from now on will probably go out a week after the release date.

The threads were locked because this place has an oligarchy. If you say anything even remotely perceived as negative about Aleph Zero, then Shahar (who is a part owner in Aleph Zero) and grand master of it all here will moderate with extreme prejudice.

His personal contempt for me stems partly from Aleph Zero getting upset when I had started *giving* people my Androcell remix of Shulman - Random lifelines for *free* 5 years ago or so after they didn't want to release it. No money for them (or me) so of course *they* had a huge problem with this. Also, after designing the Natural Born Chillers album cover for them and had been asked to do the second one, everything started going south when I realized just how greedy they really were. I pulled out and they were ever more pissed at me. These are just some simple facts.

But I ask whoever you are tony4007 (I'm thinking your name *might* be Anthony Canning or Brian Woods) to stop stirring the pot around here and creating more problems for my projects. You will not make headway going against the grain on these blue pages.

As for me, I'm moving on and continuing to write music for personal satisfaction and sharing it with true fans who are in personal touch with me and follow what I'm doing on my website.

If you don't like me or my music that is perfectly fine. I don't live to be liked or disliked. I create the visual art and music that I want to see and hear. People's negative, subjective opinions will always come tumbling out of their mouths but I no longer have a will to incorporate it into my reality-tunnel. True supporters and fans contact me direct and get responded to directly and follow me on my website. These are the ONLY areas in cyberspace that one can trust that I am truly controlling.

I've said my peace and I leave you now to carry on with your regularly scheduled programming.

Peace, love, light, and frequencies,
Tyler

A customer/fan opinion:

Well, Aleph Zero is one of my favorite record labels, and not just because they release wonderful, innovative, top quality music from talented creative artists, but also because I always get great service from them.

The prices are comfortable, the artwork and presentation are special, and Shahar and Yaniv are very nice and talented guys that put a lot of love, experience and time in what they do ( and that goes for all the AZ artists ).

This combination of love, kindness, professionalism, creativity and thinking outside of the box, is a winning formula.

They have the balls to release the music they love and truly believe in - music that pushes forward levels of creativity. And they have the ears for knowing when they are listening to something good that is worth releasing.

And again, while doing all that, they also give great and efficient service + constantly being in touch with the fans and keeping us all updated and happy. A beautiful vision that is being realized in the best possible way. And they keep improving all the time.

Every young label can learn a thing or two from them.

I'm sure that all the artists that work with Aleph Zero are happy and pleased from the way they are being treated.

I am thankful to their team and artist for doing all this wonderful job over the years, bringing us all that fantastic music, feeding our souls, and wish them all the best and that they will stay here for a long long time !

Cheers !

So because you are a costumer/fan you are right about the label and Taylor is wrong? Weird

Now I don't want to judge who is right and who is wrong here as I know shite about their relationship (and you also don't know the facts) but we all make mistakes in life. Point is no matter who made the mistake (maybe both did) old grudges are a waste of time           www.beatagency.dk

Hello there Beat Agency

You have to learn to read well.

Again you think I'm saying something that I'm not. Or maybe you are just trying to flame things up as usual.

I just expressed my feelings and thoughts about Aleph Zero. I simply explained why I'm a fan. I didn't say who is right and who is wrong. I said what I think about Aleph Zero.

I expressed my honest opinion. My point of view.

Good night mate.

That's my honest opinion. My point of view.

Good night mate.

Where did I try to flame things up "as usual"? Cheap shot

I was just commenting on your long praise of the label just after Taylor made his opinion about the label here in public (wrong or right - I can't tell). To me it seem you were out to defend the label. I made the observation and that's all. Now I like Shahar - in my book he's a good guy so don't get me wrong.           www.beatagency.dk

He expressed his opinion, and I expressed mine. Again - I didn't say who is right and who is wrong. I said what I think about Aleph Zero ( based on my experience with them ) .

What is your point? ( rhetorical question of course )

What, he can say what he thinks but I can't ? ( again, a rhetorical question )

Good night, This time for real.

Don't know these peeps but I will chill on stirring the pot. Never intended to fuck with you as your one of the most intelligent beings on these blue pages. Just got confused as to who's who and more or less wanted to get the real you to reply and set things straight. I personally think your music is more than worthy for any label. Sounds like labels are on their way out. I've always had positive posts about your projects.
