Yes, I've actually got some new tasty DS music crafted but will be highly selective who I'm sharing with. I remember when you and some others were popping off so I doubt you'll be one of the chosen unless you want to pay quadruple or something. 
Plus, I never feel anything is good enough so I keep working it over and over and over and over...... even though perfection is impossible or any many cases right in front of our eyes. Yes, I just watched the new Tron last night.

Can't cost too much to "run" this site. I pay $60 a year for hosting 3 sites with UNLIMITED bandwidth. Where does all the rest of the money go????

My cousin only replied to anything here AFTER identifying himself. When I told you and Rob Vector to go fuck youselves that was all ME. Read it and weap. Rob was smart and pulled his support WAY back. He even dropped his "follwing" my soundcloud page. Maybe tell yourself you should never support my work. To be honest, I don't rely on it. I use the money from music to funnel back into the music... gear, internet hosting, etc. The money I get from it I put back into it. I would be an absolute DUMBASS if I EVER thought the music would SUPPORT me. Only fools or people who absolutely adore the lifestyle do that. I'm financially responsible before most things.

But anyone who has supported CAN'T feel cheated. They got what they paid for whether it be CD's, a download, compensating for illegally downloading, etc. I've never screwed anybody. Put your faith in NOTHING and you will find it's very hard to get hurt. |

I have to say I wonder why u associate gigs, especially international ones, as necessarily ego-enhancing (rather than ego-dissolving, as generally preferable) while they could serve u very well for the same purposes u've mentioned. I mean, it is what u make of it, isn't it? |

Trance Visuals sent me $75 for 5 CD's and it cost $12 to ship them. He's reading this and probably going to freak out. If he wants the change back I can do that. Or set him up with any and all downloads of music he might like or may not have. Eitherway, the support I have received goes back INTO creating MORE music. But I get by on VERY little irregardless. I'm not living "phat" as they say by ANY means. |

No man, it's a hierarchy of ego in my experience. In my experience, the bigger an artist becomes the LESS their ego dissolves. "Headlining" and international gigs feed into that. I don't need to name name's but some people I thought were worthy of respect let me down time after time when they opened their mouths. Haha, I guess some will say the same applies to me.

Oh, I DID sell a A LOT of my studio this year because thing became tight and it's not like I'm seeing enough from the music to make up for it. Was really sad to see some of my prized synths have to go and my mackie 24 channel console... but life goes on. Now I have what I see in most "hobby" setups. It will get me by none-the-less.

I agree that the bigger an artist becomes the less their ego dissolves (dissolved being an ideal), but not NECESSARILY so. If u r self-aware u can remain humble, play ur music, "spread ur seed" (also collect ur money) and go home, back to ur little hack studio
It is what u make of it, after all.
I'd like to note that when I learned of Androcell's music by randomnly downloading it from a friend, I then went on to donate thru his website cuz i liked it very much. Tyler in turn offered me one of his unreleased tracks freely (which, ironically, samples the words "bad karma" at the beginning.. am i right?) |

Nope, have never discussed or sampled shite about KARMA. I don't believe in it myself. If I do an evil deed, the effects of it are going to go on FOREVER and that isn't such a good thing but I don't invest in a belief that it will come back to me. The "bad karma" line on CDREC releases for copying music was put in place to consciously effect those that DO believe in it. Neuro-linguistic programming if you will.
When I do good deeds (like just the other day I held the door for a minute or more and said "take all the time you need" while ,after just stepping out of her car,an elderly lady slowly hobbled her way with a cane to the entrance of the post office) I don't expect it to go into some kind of karmic bank account. I did it because I would want someone to do it for me in the same position. The "golden" rule. That is what they call "the great work" in alchemy.
