As an artist would you prefer i download your music in mp3's with file-sharing programs, listen to it and not pay, or not listening at all? |

hm.. interesting question
i guess i would pick 1st option, because like this if you like it - you may tell to your friends and some of them would buy it, besides that if you REALLY like it - im kinda sure you'll go and buy it yourself as well, because the actual cd got better sound + covers

If I had an artists I would say the first one 
I prefer first thing is that ppl will enjoy my music, hang my poster on thier wall and admire me, Than ppl will go to the shops will be my cd, w'ont like it and throw it from the window (Like I did)

Second option.
don't think I'm greedy, or doing it ony for the money, but the situation of our scene leaves us with no choice. of course this might change if for instance i know i have enough gigs per year to support me completly or my sales are high enough to allow for a certain percentage of D/Ling.
