IMO the whole "worshipping" of artists and Djs started when "live" performances and a pile of Djs (all playing max.2 hours) became more important to the organizers than booking a few quality Djs.
And then there was an over all change in attitude from Djs and artist not being so important compared to the music playing (Faceless artists) to a situation where their faces had to be on covers and an increasing "Look at me" attitude.

in 91 the party s in realy hard trance body state of mind.... the music s realy fun and simple and uplifting...
and it probably was an awesome party to be ( lucky upavas )
then the one from 92 the music stinks...imo...
it sounds like the main time of transition to the psychedelic genre, and the party , welll loooks fun but not so fun and special as the one from 91...
now in 93 omg.......full psychedelic experience...
everything is in a contest...
even the music it seems they were specialy produced for that party ...
i must say watching the videos , out of the 3 imo the one from 93 was the most special...
the music, the people , the party in general, omg.. its incredible..
the theme of americam indians... wow incredible....
if i could choose and come back to time i d choose 93 first then 91.... 92 i would skip..
