I think you misunderstood our little fun and non serious "competition" here. I asked people to make a tune that is as close as possible to the old-school sound of 91. Now if you don't like what i did is all fine but in 91 the music was a mix of many styles and usually called Techno. Don't expect to hear psychedelic or goa trance. That came later
I do think my little teaser is quite close to the original old-school sound. whether you like it or not is a matter of taste

haha fun ! you nail it ,that kind of leads, the voice...back to the 90'S . just the high bassline note every 2 bar sound a bit "goa" trance no? maybe it s just me... make me think to some classic goa tunes .

"Sundown" by The Overlords
This kind of bassline was made way before it ever entered the Goa scene. I think "Sundown" which was the no. hit all over the world in 91 pawed the way for these kind of basslines in early "goatrance" later on from 93 --->
But this kind of bassline was used even before in especially Belgian "Electronic Body Music (EBM)" and some Industrial.
Many Goatrance artists (myself included) used these kind of basslines quite a lot so it's only natural you think it sound a bit Goa'ish www.beatagency.dk
