Number one for me was when some people pulled the cables and EVERYTHING went off.

second was when i didnt take all cables to play live.

third was when i spilled beer on the mixer.

sux but we all have to go through it           Myspace.com/DJiNexus

One time, when i was beginning an ableton live set, I tried to highlight a group of intro clips and delete them to make room for more clips. But somehow I highlighted all the clips in my set and deleted them, and the sound cut out to complete silence! I stood there for about 2 seconds wondering what happened, not really realizing what I did, and through a presence of mind unusual to me, I pressed Ctrl+Z to undo, and it all popped back up and started playing from where it would have been if I hadn't done anything. The dude who just got done right before me saw the whole thing happen, and he came running up to me, pointing and laughing. I laughed too, it was an embarrassing moment I shared with him but it all happened so quick that nobody on the dancefloor seemed notice my goof during that time.

a couple of years ago when I was still spinning full on I had a gig on a small open air party in the middle of a field...everything was going just fine but after maybe 30 minutes I got the biggest possible urge to take a dump...tried to contain it but it just got worse and worse, eventually I could no longer hold it in and I figure...ok...I'm gonna play a really long track and take a dump behind the only tree there was on the spot...so I'm frantically looking for a long track and I end up mixing a really cheesy one, I run off to the bar to get some paper and find a friend working there...at the exact same moment when I said: "please give me some paper" she says in these exact words: "Dovla what kind of shitty track is this"

I grab the paper, take the biggest possible dump ever and manage to get back to beatmix the next track...success!           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

yea goa gil takes a leak after every 40 minutes or so. One time we organised a Gil gig at a club in a 5 star hotel & the wash room was far across the hotel lobby & he was not happy about this so we arranged a bucket for him to take his piss behind the console & it was full until morning.

Hehehe that is a funny story man, good effort there To be honest when I read about you asking for paper I thought you would have been offerred "paper" if you know what I mean

Axis Mundi, that is funny as bro People must've thought you did a 1 or 2 bar pause and it was a part of the set           -------------- Dark & Twisted Night Psy --------------

At the parties in Asheville we have every year, he specifies to have a porta-potty behind the booth just for him to use.

And yes, he is an old man and he drinks a lot of water while he's back there... so he pees a lot, lol.

One time before Gil actually started, we caught some girl sneaking into Gil's potty to use it. We waited outside the potty for her to come back out, and when she did, she saw us waiting for her and we said, "Uhm, that's Gil's private potty, so you're not supposed to use that."

She was totally embarrassed!

If you want to be absolutely sure of a nice relaxing shit just loop a large section of the track... nobody will know, they are all wasted anyway and you can take a 5, 10, 15 or 20 minute shit without stress!

Back before I did live and was just DJing I always had a set of CD's of 15-minute long mixes I put together before hand. The series was called "Bathroom Breaks" and I saved them for whenever an emergency suddenly came up.

Of course, now that I do live sets, going to the bathroom is much easier lol!

- The last gig I had I brought my CD case of Only stuff that is NOT psytrance. Needless to say my original set plan didn't pan out :-/

I honestly have nightmares about that happening to me.

Luckily all my mishaps has occurred with very small dancefloors, and I reckon it's the lack of energy on the floor that trips me up. The usual array of hitting cue on a playing track, and beatmatching with the fader up. :/
