Yellow Sunshine Explosion is one of the most unprofessional labels out there. I advise everybody to stay away from it.

i feel sorry for the artist that haven't got the pay they really should have.
BUT as i know it and i have been talking to many labels who alway get their money from YSE/millenium when they sub-license track to them (even new or smaller labels), as for most artists.
and as for the tracklists on their compilation they are always a good mix of differing styles withing the "commercial" area.
what i can REALLY read here between the lines in many of the replies in this thread is the old: -"we should be underground, it's bad bad BAD making commercial stuff for economical interest"- stuff.. and if i'm right thats saad.

Shamonk, I advise you to use the search to find the many topics about YSE and how they managed to fool a lot of people.
It is not about commercialism, it is about they being unprofessional and disrespectful.

full_on: i know what the forums says.. but anyone can write stuff on the net.. i prefer to talk to people directly.
Sure i've heard bad stuff about them, but most of the time i only hear good stuff.
But, what would i know.. i haven't been working with them so i cannot really say. (probably won't either 'cause shamonk is on ice for undetermined time)
And i think anyone who hasn't been f*cked by YSE/millenium should say anything about them being unprofessional..
just read/talk to people and make your own desicion if you wanna release there.
but that's just my opinion
