What this all comes down to in simple english.
100% legal:
-you can not buy the records they indicate to be part of "their collection"
-they don't ask for your visa number unless you indicate a an album they have permission to distribute
-none of the unreleased stuff is for sale
dodgy/disrespectull:
- listing live recordings, vinyl releases and unreleased tracks
Illegal:
- putting 1.5 minute long samples online of tracks they're not supposed to distribute (legally speaking even to use only 1 second of a track you need permission).So if your going to send your lawyers after them, this is the only thing you can use against these unethical site owners.
please read the rest of the posts before replying... a lot has been said already...

i'm wondering, has anyone succeeded in having them remove tracks/albums/bootlegs/... from their list?
because untill this moment, not a single track from all the labels that reacted here (and got the same default reaction after sending a complaint email) has dissapeared from their listing...
for some strange reason, their top100 only lists 20 tracks... funny if you see they offer thousands of names in the lists...

This really needs to stop... I don't know about the rest of you, but I've seen anti-Jetgroove.com posts all-across the internet, and on every music forum that I visit... It's people like this that screw-up the music market in general, and give it a bad name... not only that, but they're trying to make a profit of people who don't even know they're buying what's basically stolen goods...
Lets hope they're brought down soon, because between all the legal talk and threats that I've seen everywhere... so far nothing has happened.

If you would have read it properly you would realise there is nothing illegal about that site except for the fact that they give listening samples of up to 1.5 minutes of tracks they shouldn't even have. You can have the biggest army of lawyers, you can't force them do change their policy if it's in fact legal.

what we should be able to do is to have their ISP and or webhotell to shutdown their connection and site if they are presented with solid proof( i know you guys allready got that)of illegal activity. I think that you can actually run a legal process against their ISP.

What proof is that? there is hardly any basis for legal action.
I tried buying tracks, and it didn't work for any of the labels that reacted here. Listening samples where available though.
If there is proof that they sold anything they shouldn't (and i haven't seen that so far) then the action you mention here is very suitable.

apparently there is something illegal going on, why would you otherwise offer ppl this service.
And how come they have snippets of audio to be listened to that they should not have and dont have the rights to market thru their site.
Isnt it illegal claim legal rights to something that they clearly dont have according to the reaction of the masses?

Mr Rik...why are you trying to defend this bastards??How can you say that they haven´t done nothing illegal??They have listening samples of copyrighted material - even without selling it they HAVE IT and use it for their promotion.

I'm not defending them, just pointing out what is really happening, a lot of incorrect information exists in this thread already.
The illegal use of samples of tracks they shouldn't have is indeed the only thing these people do wrong, as i suggested before myself.

I can also not see what is the big problem for the labels.
Of course nice to not seem associated with credit card fraud, which really seem to me like it would be the purpose of this site.
But on the other hand, the people who give the credit card to buy unrleased material from a dodgy Kazakstanian site is the ones that will have to suffer.
The lost income of labels due to this site seems like it's non existant.
So warn people of the site, and demand that they remove the tracks from the site so you are not associated with their scam.
But sueing it as a great theat is overdriven. The sueing is better left to the ones why get ripped of when leaving the card details to them.
The labels have nothing to gain from sueing them for sure.
People don't hardly buy from legal sites offering digital delivery, so why would they from a dodgy site like this?
Edit: also I'm not sure that it's illegal to provide samples as long as you pay the fees.
