yeah, i gotta agree with Uncle Bob, Ree K is totally my favorite, (though i guess the only other female dj i've seen is Domino and she was super too!) i love how tiny Ree K looks behind the massive sounds

no offense, but i guess for me, what get's me goin is the contrast between femininity of the dj (or dancer)and masculinity of the big beats and rhythms.
(right, me and probably every other straight dude too, but i digress<wink>).

anyways, the more folks into psy, regardless of gender, the better

peace

I have seen some DJanes, and I think I can say that they are also good tune-transporter.

I´ve seen Sally Doolally at last years Antaris, and for me it was the best DJ-Set there!!! I´m really happy that she is comming back to the Antaris this year.

And at last I want to say, that all the men who wrote/said that no woman has the real feeling for this job, had to try DJíng for themselves, I believe there are a lot of DJanes who make a better job than these Idiots!!!!

Love to all the ppl out there in the Universe

Lol.. there are a few here in South africa... met one called Tune Raider ...

the thing is she was was like ya .. the guys only listem to me play because they like at my tits...

she only playes music with a similar bassline... easier to beatmix... she says ....

it doesnt make a difference to me as long as the tunes are good ... tits or no tits ...

personally i wouldnt mind seeing more.... would make it intersting..

Yes Sungirl the good fellow, does good music, to Russia music writes Yo-yo, too it is not bad, and like someone. In general abruptly when beautiful girls do qualitative tracks, so it is pleasant to look at them when they play.

Go,go, go beautiful girls!

Sup girl

Listen i dont think it is so difficult to see a women play.

In my opinion theres nothing better than watching a girl playing a killer set, the only problem is that there are only few.

Keep up the work girl and dont stop and here those people that are giving you that idea....

Peace and Respect!!

DJ'ing isn't about looks. It's about skills. I think some of you are forgetting this here. If a woman has good skills in DJ' ing, I couldn't give a fuck about how she looks.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. I agree with Tom, it is down to mens' brains which are more into obsession with things like knowing which track is on such and such an album from this or that label with this sample. it is something that women in my experience have no time for. It is not just techno trance - every music scene where obsession is required to be good - as opposed to say pop where women are very sucessful because of their vocal talents or beauty.

with the trance scene comes hallucninogenic drugs as well (and i know many of you won't want this to come in to it but....) more men like to take hallucinogenics than women. it is a rare women that REALLY enjoys hallucinogenics and wants to explore that area of their brain - most of the greatest philosophers were men. this may seem sexist but it is true and the truth is often unfair.

I have to disagree with you there.....I have the obsession where I hear a track at a party and I sit there and work out which album it comes from and what the track name is. I LOVE all trance and the feeling it makes me feel and the sounds that are used. I have the obsession because I love the music.

About the hallucinogenics: I only take those and I REALLY enjoy them. I love the thoughts and dimesions that the drug takes me on, the exploration that your mind takes when you listen to trance and go fully into the trip.

I happen to be one of those women who would LOVE to DJ and even start making my own music (two of my friend DJ's have told me to try when they saw my passion for the music) I have heard of many female DJ's but hardly any producers.

Hello dragongurl, and marcelinha, i think actually there is a lack of women talent, there are many women trying to mix but very few do it well....

I would love to see more women playing their music, i only know Davina of Siriuss Issness and Jiga, this girls definatly have good music skills because they are passionate and dedicated to their work, if there are not many more of this women i think is because man are usually more obsessed/passionate with the music and the urge to create their own... u girls need to start tweaking, there wouldn't be anything more sexy than a beatifull women playing killer music like any other 'top name', in fact i think that just because of being a women u would have more bookings than men for sure hahahahaha greetings to all women djs and producers
